Is it just me or can't everyone see what a fraud Mayweather is being in picking a lighter weight fighter to fight at Welterweight, when there are better fights for him like Shane and Cotto and yet people are thinking this is a competitive fight. JMM has nothing to loose, Floyd is trying to big JMM up, saying he beat Manny Pac twice and so on but no mention of fighting real challengers. Floyd is a Joke.

Here's the difference I see between Mayweather Jr. and Pacquiao. Before Margarito was ko'd by Mosley Pacquiao was setting the premise to fight Margarito. After that he set the Premise to fight Cotto or Mosley. Bigger fighters with bigger reps. The man has no fear of losing or damaging his rep. Pacquiao is a true fighter.

Mayweather leaves boxing is called out by every top rated boxer in is class and comes out to face a smaller man. Why? I think because Marquez is the most hungry fighter out there where Mayweather easily bargains a bigger cut of the money and has the least risk to his legacy. Mayweather jr. is managing his boxing career.

How much money would Floyd make if he fought Margarito compared to other guys he faced instead? Of course everybody wants to fight the bigger name for a nice quick fat paycheck but the big name also wants the same so why not face someone who will bring more to the table? Don't we all do that? Floyd vs Margarito would probably end up like another Baldomir-like fight where you had a slow puncher receiving punches from all angles and running away from danger which is a smart tactic, not everybody's favorite technique but its not illegal either.

Even in outboxing Oscar, even Jim Lampley stated around round 9, "I knew all along Floyd was going to win, but I am surprised how well Oscar has done to stay in the fight". WTF Mayweather was only a 2 to 1 favorite, Oscar looked great against Mayorga, he was the best fighter Mayweather had ever faced, and it was at 154. Mayweather gets no credit because he is expected to win every fight.

Seems like lots a people are just writing JMM out. I think he's got a shot at it. If he can pressure Mayweather but also stay smart in his defense I think he's got a really good shot. Hatton had the pressure thing right but no defense. I am deffinitly in JMM's corner for this one, would love to see Floyd get knocked to the floor, its gonna be really tuff tho!

Spot on Mick, PBF will be on his bike all night and probably win a defensive UD, he won't want any damage in preparation for another huge pay that awaits at the end of the year. Difference between floyd and pac is yea floyd is expected to win because he severly selects his oppenent. Pac on the other hand is reckless and on ocassion pac is expected to be kncok the fuck out, bulldoze, pick apart, school but then after the fight happens pac has made another fighter look old.

dont argue with that

JMM has traded in the centre of the ring with the very best of them and sure as hell wont be any different if floyd gives him the chance.

But when your as quick on your feet both front and back footed and as fast handed as PBF its hard to make a case for you to stand in the centre of the ring and trade with an out an out slugger.

If JMM can invoke something in floyd that nobody has yet been able to accomplish you have to make the heavier handed guy the fave. But that in itself is gonna be one hell of a tough task!!
