Funny thing is that it wasn't a grapple or bodyslam. Clottey lunged at Cotto to grab on and Cotto dipped and came up while trying to push Clottey back. In the process, Clottey legs went in an undesirable direction and he fell flat.

That is not Cotto's fault. Clottey lunging grab try was responsible for the whole thing so he has nobody to blame but himself. At no point did Cotto wrestle him down or ever grab him for that matter.

It was more like a typical boxing push to create distance. Its no biggie to me. It just happens that Clottey was in off balance position and made the push looked really violent.

It was no body slam by Cotto. It wasn't even close, or at least the intent for such cannot be visually supported. It was more like a failed attempt to clinch by Clottey, which was thwarted by Miguel's arm and body movements which then caused Clottey to lose balance, lose the support of his legs under him and fall. This then gave the slight impression of a slam.

The rest is theatrics that was Clottey's way to ease up on an embarassing situation on hand. Anybody who've slipped, with the potential to be laughed at, will do the same to avoid being the "clown" in this typical scenario. A purely instinctive move, but also can be stated that it too was visibly a matter of overdoing it on the part of Clottey.

You are going off topic again in your own thread! You are a proper nonce!
I mean if it was Ref Joe Cortez, Cotto could have been deducted a point by comparing on how Cortez easily deducted a point on Hatton even if Hatton didn't really hit PBF at the back of his head...

if the ref was Joe Cortez he would have Dq'd Clottey on an accidental headbutt , the guy needs to find a new job, he used to be a good ref, now he just makes an ass out of himself
