Martinez is a southpaw and a bit of a mover plus he was able to take/diffuse Cintron's power shots for 12 rounds so imo he can give Williams trouble much like Quintana did in their 1st fight.

    HOWEVER....

I've only just seen this vid of Martinez against a guy named Russel Jordan (a VERY lanky Southpaw with a decent jab) and it's clear that Martinez is struggling with the size and jab of Russel, so you have a good point

It will be a good fight but I pick WIlliams for the win.

Martinez was blown away by Margo years ago, but that was then and this is now. Williams is hungry; it's his time to shine. I see a beat down over 9 or 10 rounds and then a mercy stoppage.

This cat Martinez has a tough style for Williams
Williams gets credit for taking a live dog
    The Punisher takes it

If Sergio wants to beat Paul he needs to watch that 1st CQ fight...
Pot shotting and just countering Paul all night.
    Punch and get out...

Would like to see Sergio win but I think Pauls output will carry him to a victory.

I think Martinez has a style that can give Williams fits. He's quick, he darts in and out, and he moves around well. I agree with CMM that he should study the first fight against Quintana, which I'm sure he is, because he has the style that can execute the same game plan. Sure Williams always has a high output of punches, but that's because he usually fights guys that stand there in front of him where he can hit them. That's not Martinez though, he likes to move.

I would not be surprised if he upsets Williams at all. If he fights smart, I think he can win.

This fight should go to the cards with Williams getting the nod. Martinez will have a problem winning rounds because of Williams' advantages in punch output.

Martinez can execute the gameplan Quintana used, but Williams can execute the gameplan Margarito used. Martinez's only loss came at the hands of a volume puncher and since Calzaghe retired, Williams is the best in the business at volume punching.

How big is the ring? A bigger ring will be to Martinez's advantage.

Imagine how much leather would be thrown in a match between Williams and Calzaghe?!?!

Williams by clear UD. His style is everything that I like in boxing and when at his best there are few that can beat him. Martinez is good, but he will be outworked something rotten. Williams is a bit of a freak.

Paul to win no question. Sucks to see "other" fighters getting so called titles in made up divisions and weights while williams will eat your lunch at the division and weight already established. Anywhere from 147 to 160 and maybe even 168 i even heard him say. Ah well...

Martinez was actually the co-main event on the night Paul lost to CQ that's the night I met him when he defeated Bunema. So I think he knows what he has to do.

I'm like most people, I think Williams is too busy not to get a decision. Williams UD.

    Default Williams-Martinez

    Arguably the best 2 154 pounders fight tonight......at 160

Gonna be a great fight anyway. Williams is just about the most underrated fighter in the sport of boxing and is pretty much the finished article. He`s a rare combination of very defense minded yet extremely good to watch.

Martinez is a battler with a solid chin and a great ability to mess you up on the inside. He`ll take PWs best punches and dish a few out of his own.

For all his strengths i dont see him finding a way past williams barring cuts. Martinez is not the kind of guy who will rest on his laurels and i can see him going for it down the stretch and possibly getting stopped late on.

Also on the card, arreola, quintana, witherspoon and thompson
    one dangerous horrible bloke

I like both fighters, but I think Williams output will be too much. Should be a very good fight though and Martinez will likely claim a round or two.
