    Default Fnf 3/12/10

Ok looks like ESPN2 is taking the week off (must be the junior lawn bowling championships or something). There are still fights on Friday.

Sam Peter 33-3 (26 KOs) vs. Nagy Aguilera 15-2 (10 KOs)
    in an IBF title eliminator.

If you're like me saying Aguilera who? He just stopped Maskaev in 1.

    Possible undercards
Hernan Marquez 27-0 (20 KOs) vs. Richie Mepranum 16-2-1 (3 KOs)
for some minor league flyweight title

Anthony Peterson 29-0 (19 KOs) vs. Juan Ramon Cruz 16-7-1 (12 KOs)
Cause 5 years is not long enough for Peterson to step up yet. BOP BOP BOP

Nagy Aguilera is actually pretty good, I wouldn't be shocked for an upset here...

From what little I've seen in videos and read; He's 24, with a couple of Golden love titles, moves well, power getting better as he matures, out of his two defeats one was an SD and the other a DQ. He took Maskaev out with a crisp clean combination and showed reasonaly fast hands. Not sure what the Oleg fight really means other than a name, but at least this guy appears to be more than just a heavy bag for Sam Peter...

I don't think you can really call anyone remotely decent beating Sam Peter an upset at this point.

Yeah, Aguilera isn't that bad. But if Peter comes in shape , he should win it. An upset wouldn't be a shocker though
