This is a vote relating to a change in polls for manager votes. Me and Killer discussed this last week as a way to improve the manager vote system.

The proposed new system would work by the manager vote working as a typical vote does i.e. an option can be put up for a fighter to remain or drop 1-3 places. We would forego a 'drop to the pool' option unless the majority were in favour of that.

However, there would also be stipulations. Once a manager puts that vote up, he can not then propose a manager vote in that division for the next 2 months. Additionally, he can not propose a vote for the purpose of that same issue for the next 4 months. This is so people can't consistently try to demote someone.

I'd also recommend that you guys try to make use of your manager votes as it is.

I like the idea but I think timeframes are going to be difficult to deal with. I think if someone has an issue they should just bring it up. The voting can decide...

No he's fought at the weight in the last year. I don't think he was struggling with the weight, he looks a little fleshier at 135. I think if he were to lose to Peterson, he will drop back down.

Okay, I'm going to try to set a goal of keeping at least 5 fighters in each pool, this is going to be tricky especially at the low-end weight classes. So when I am doing my weekly pool cleaning, I will be trying to also find fights in that weight class that may qualify for pool entry. If you guys could help me keep an eye on this that would be great.

Hey guys if you've got no objection, I'm going to take over managing the Super-Bantamweight division. It's one that is going to need a lot of work & I also feel that it's not an attractive one for newcomers to take over.

We still have some divisons vacant so I'd encourage anyone interested in it to come forward & take over another one.

Super-Bantamweight

also I'm gonna PM Scott 22 & CFH because neither have voted for quite some time in which case Super-Middleweight & Featherweight will also become vacant.

I'll put you on Super Bantam and update it tonight. That's going to be a messy division with so many of those guys likely to move up to feather.

I've talked to CFH & he's said that he didn't have time for awhile due to school & being a MOD, but that if we can't get anyone to take the division, he'll be able to vote again in a few weeks.

Scott hasn't got back to me yet, I say we give him a few more days & then open it up, he hasn't voted in quite some time.

I'm going to PM Nameless & see if he's interested in taking over one of the divisions, as I've seen him vote before.

Any other suggestions for possible managers from the main board?
