I totally agree with Superheavyrhun, aside from Hussey the top order have been really struggling to hold it together.
As long as Strauss starts producing some good performances as well, as he has been a little shaky, then we should be in a good position tomorrow.

This is much more like the England we know and detest, one wicket drops and then everyone starts getting panicky, and that one wicket then becomes a full on collapse. Seem to have stabilised a bit now, but the middle and the tail have their work cut out getting us even withing range of the Australian first innings score.

I've missed all of this because of bloody Wikileaks. Thanks Bilbo!

Jeez, 5 wickets down and a collapse. Seem to be holding on a bit now, but still a long way behind. Darn.

And now six down, Prior gone.

England are in big trouble here. Let's hope the bottom order can dig in like the Aussies did.

All out and a fair bit down. Aussies looking strong here.

We need to make an impact after tea or we're done.

I gave it up as a bad job and headed off to bed shortly after lunch. We need some stunning bowling tomorrow and we get back to the batting performance of the last test.

Nothings ever straight forward for us is it

Win the test to retain the ashes, bowl them out for under 300 and then fall apart, typical England. Dont want to talk like its a disaster but we needed to keep them down.
When God said to the both of us "Which one of you wants to be Sugar Ray?" I guess I didnt raise my hand fast enough

That was a really tough days cricket. There was a glimmer of hope when the 3rd wicket went down, but Hussey again is the man that seems to stick around above all the others.

We need to really shine in the morning otherwise we are really up to our necks in it.

    Bloody England!

3 wickets down with 55 on the board and chasing 390 or thereabouts for the win. Very frustrating, the top order are going far too cheaply in this test.

Fucking Johnson on form is great and he has come to play take him out and Australia are shite, Tremlett is the only positive, Peiterson he is lucky he got that double hundred ( well not lucky was a great knock ) but apart from that he has been shite for 18 months and his shot to get out second innings was pathetic.

Don't worry dude, we'll be back on top next week. We're just trying to give that cheeky Aussie bookie who paid out on England winning the Ashes a bit of a heart problem!
