I would still like to have Mertesacker, or Mexes. Agger is ok, Kyrgiakos is ok, but we NEED a top CB!

We need a top wingback. We have Kelly, Aurelio, Johnson, and Konchesky. Aurelio and Johnson are better on attack, they can't defend for shite. We need better defenders, I wish we had a prime JAR at LB!

I'm not so sure we need any CM's defensive or attacking as we currently have Gerrard, Cole, Lucas, Poulsen, Mierieles (is really a CM, but is decent on the wing) etc. Honda, DeFour, or someone else would be ok only if they could play wide OR allow Gerrard to play CF.

We do need wingers, we've got: Maxi, Jovanovic, Babel, Kuyt, but nobody that keeps it wide. Turan, Dempsey, that Dutch kid Elia (sp?), or someone else that can keep wide and put in solid crosses. Johnson would be an ok solution only if we get another wingback.

We also need a 2nd striker: Ngog is so-so, Jovanovic really should be a striker, Babel should be a striker, Cole should be played at CF as well, but Torres needs someone to take the pressure off.

Daglish does not have a clue, idiot thinks the team just lacks confidence when they are just not good enough.

I would have take the City rejects like a shot Cruz, Wright and Addebayour on loan.

I don't think that's a fair or even accurate statement. This club isn't any different from the club last season, sure other clubs have gotten better and are playing more consistently but the facts are

#1: The long ball experiment was a failure.

#2: The ownership switch was long and drawn out and it kept us from making any quality signings over the summer.

#3: We're still a banged up team with very little depth and lots of square pegs that former ownership bought thinking their manager could make use of them in a proper system.

Dalglish has the guys playing hard and eventually we'll catch a few positive breaks and build some momentum. Dalglish isn't the manager of the future but he's already got the boys playing more inspired football and there's something to be said for that.

Juan Mata would be a great addition for LFC

Mata is an excellent player, but I think he's just signed a contract extension at Valencia. I think any move would have to wait until the summer and then it would cost a bomb to get him.

The Suarez to Liverpool rumours are still hanging around, apparently it would be a 15-£20 million move which would rely on the sale of Babel for around £8 million to help finance it. He's said he's ready to leave Ajax and he's got a brilliant goalscoring record in Holland but there's a few players that haven't been able to continue that in one of the top leagues. Could be a very good addition if it came off

I want to officially retract everything I said about Daglish.

There is a big difference, he gets the team winning.

I figured you'd change your mind sooner or later.

Kenny is going to be the manager for the foreseeable future.

Anyone that can't see the difference that Dalglish has brought to the team is mad. The results are better, we are playing better, we have got rid of our most inconsistent player for a record fee and brought in new blood. Dalglish is not to be underestimated by anyone. He has learned from the best and knows Anfield inside out.

For the first time in an age I am excited to be a Liverpool fan, you sense that with a few adjustments we can be back amongst the big boys sooner rather than later.
