froch didnt lose a round against kes till maybe 6
watch the 4th its so one sided i didnt think the fight would go any longer
kes doesnt hit froch with anything significant until the 6th
you are right on one thing tho, froch does dominate the last 6, just not quite as much as he did the first

Am I in the right thread? Did someone just call Froch a "class act"![]()
I wish he wasn't such a toolbag..he'd be very easy to root for.
Froch isn't fake and you have to admire his honest up front approach
I don't know about being a "class act", but Froch is a somewhat likable guy, and I respect him for what he's been able to accomplish. I know I like Froch a hell of a lot better then that "son of god" douche Andre Ward.
Ward is a slick boxer, and he's good at the shit that he does, but he's far from unbeatable. Froch may not win this fight, but the odds favoring Ward 3-1 seem a bit inflated to me. I like Carl's chances, especially if it turns into a competitive war.

Big H - the Jeff Lacy-Joe Calzaghe comparison is a good one for Froch fans.
Froch's faced tougher challenges in his pro career than Ward has. I just have a hard time seeing Ward losing this fight. His smothering style is tough to beat. As much as Erics and Finito hate me for it, my favorite super middleweight is Lucian Bute, and I would say the same thing for Bute as I would say for Froch, Ward is a tough fight. He's just tough to hit cleanly. If Froch wins this fight, it'll go down as not only a great feat in the supermiddleweight division but in boxing lore as a whole. Froch is a guy that people have consistently picked against his whole career and he's consistently proved them wrong. He travels abroad to fight the best. He's tough. It's hard not to appreciate him. It's just in Ward he's going to face a very nuanced boxer. More nuanced than I believe he's faced so far. This is one of those fights where if I bet, I would bet on Ward, but root for Froch.

ward sucks-cheating dirty fighting "S.O.B". I'm American and I hope froch beats his ass!!!
should be aexciting fight as long as ward don't smother hug and roughhouse all night, which u know he will. if they go toe to toe, froch will win.
if ward does his smothering boring crap, he will rob us of a good fight and will win a lame decision.
WARD SUCKS!!!
Hey rant
I havent got a problem with people liking bute above froch and ward, hes obviously a slick, powerfull and exciting fighter, i enjoy watching him fight
Until he fights any of th top men tho theres no way he can be ranked above ward and froch

There's a couple things worth mentioning that haven't been mentioned. (1) Ward has never been outboxed. In his whole professional and amateur career, literally, he has never once been outboxed. In contrast, Froch has been outboxed on a few occasions if not for whole fights for a few rounds in a row. Even Brian Magee outboxed him for a bit as wild as that may be. (2) For all the supposed power Froch has, he hasn't knocked out anyone in two years and the only really elite level boxer he has knocked out is Jermain Taylor.
My strong belief is that it is absolutely necessary for Froch to rattle Ward early on and then at least superficially dictate the pace for some of the middle rounds. Ward won't wilt like Jermain Taylor in the final rounds so if Froch allows Ward to build a lead, he won't be able to catch up. He needs to cut off the ring well if Ward runs like Dirrell and he needs to play very rough, perhaps borderline illegal, on the inside. Rattling Ward first is key though.
