Predictable, Wlad, by 6th round KO, after a KD, the ref waves it off. I didn't give Thompson a round in the fight, although there was so little action in the 1st round, he could have been given that. So, 5-0 in rounds for Wlad before the KO in the 6th.

I wouldn't doubt that Thompson didn't get 1 million plus for this fight, not a bad payday for a pug who's basically a no-talent Journeyman.

I don't think thompson is that bad, he isn't that great either he's just old now, it's a shame he and chambers didnt fight the final eliminator, he sort of became mandatory by default would have been nice if he earned it by doing more than beating maurice harris or whoever it was.

Wlad was all business, I hope he keeps this attitude up. Wlad was looking for the big shots and the KO and he keeps the streak of rematch wins by KO alive.

Povetkin or the winner of Arreola vs Stiverne next

Arreola versus Stiverne is a solid match-up of top ten heavyweights. I want to see Povetkin in with one of the Klitschkos soon.

Surely you are jesting that was as usual a shocking example of Wlad dragging the heavyweight division through the gutter. Wrestling, mauling, rabbit punching, cowering and leaning. Someone of a similar size but no fitness, gave him the heeby jeebies. Poor and then on top of that a beyond terrible undercard to further insult the fans. Disgusting, nothing noble in that nonsense.

Did the outcome surprise anyone? Did anyone, anywhere expect that bum to win? Thompson, in the same ring with Klitschko, is laughable. What a waste of time!
BOXING IS ABOUT THE MONEY, ALL ABOUT THE MONEY! I don't care if Thompson gets a payday, but don't waste our valuable time with stupid fights.

After what I've seen recently from Povetkin I would give Tyson Fury a very solid chance of beating him.

Come on if Wlad did not improve on his last fight with Thompson then he really would be bad. He should have stopped him earlier than 11 and he did.

Wlad is throwing more power pynches and he's very comfortable in the ring now. I want to see him vs a power puncher soon.

I watch because I am a boxing fan who has great affection for the heavyweight division. I also watch hoping that someone may upset the applecart and remove the stranglehold that the ungainly, uninspiring Ukrainians have on the ailing weight class.

So would I, someone like Price who has a chance of silencing the soporific, boring, droning, smugster by putting him to sleep, something Wlad has been doing to viewers for years.
