I think this is going to go down as the latest of a long run of British fighters who have gone over for a big fight in the states, and will prove themselves to be exceptionally tough but ultimately fall short in the final reckoning.

I see Rees probably getting stopped on his feet in rounds 10-12. Wouldn't be surprised if it goes to the cards, and we see something along the lines of 120-108 x3.

You would have to say Broner is the overwhelming favourite in this fight, Rees could pull off a upset
but very unlikely Rees is probable past his best.! I hope he gets a good pay day, as he may take a beating
well good luck to Gavin he needs it.

I disagree with your comment on Burns. I believe it would be edged toward burns.

Broner 25(21)-0-0, but Burns has never been stopped.

There are both solid fighters with good defenses, both skillful boxers.

The only thing that seperates them is experience, and that goes to burn by a pretty decent 12 fights.
Fighting All fighters in the UK what a Joke, no intentent to offend ......... minor leagues of boxing. Broner is going to destroy him. I sure wish I am wrong.

I think people are seriously underestimating Rees's chances in this one. Don't forget he won Prizefighter.

Thats it! Rees is a shoo in now!

David Platt just gave him a mention on Coronation Street

Tough, big heart, warrior.......... That takes a pounding!

We are due a Brit abroad upset though, can't actually remember the last genuine upset on away soil.

I was convinced Rendall Munroe would do it in Asia, but that was years ago and didn't happen.

If Brook beats Alexander it would be a shock to most the world.

Rees has a great chance. He's a brillaint fighter who won't give a fuck about Broner's hype, he'll go into there to win. Even if he loses and Broner wins, I believe Gavin does himself very proud with his performance.

Anyone see the press conference from yesterday?

Rees stands up at the dias and says "I'm knocking this prick out!" and the crowd laughs. Broner gets up and pretends he cant remember Rees name and cracks a joke about his height and no one laughs. Don't think hes very liked. Seems like hes trying to do the Mayweather act outside the ring too but doesnt sound very confident, he stutters alot and has sunglasses on.

Apparently, Rees has been sparring in a gym in the bronx somewhere for 5 weeks.

One thing Rees should do is at the next opportunity call Broner "Adrien BONER" that would get everyone cracking up and will stick!

Rees attitude is great - he genuinely couldn't give a fuck about Broner.

Not sure why most think this is a shit fight? Rees is never in shit fights. Rees is also one of Broner's harder opponents on paper.

Yeah, he wont win, but he wont just stand there like a stiff doing nothing either.

    Come on Rees!!!

Id love to see Broner looking flustered because he's got someone bustling in his face and being outworked by someone who will give him no respect. I don't see Rees stopping Broner but I can see him pushing him to a very close decision.

Broner has that combination of talent, confidence and smarts that is hard to beat.
I don't see a good outcome for Rees, hopefully he gets KOed early instead of taking a ton of head shots.

Broner has a great future if he can stay composed.
I think we will all enjoy his rise to the top if his opponents keep improving.

This. If the fight goes more than 4, I'll rethink whether Broner is as dominant as he says he is. No offense to Rees either. He's traveling to the US to fight a guy the Ring (inexplicably) ranks in their top five p4p.
