Totally agree that there are worse things than infidelity and I think you have to differentiate between a one time "I got drunk and didn't say no when some floosy threw her cooch at me" and someone that is involved in an ongoing and long term affair. I have a good friend that stepped out on his old lady during a deployment. Hot yougn thing came by his room and made a move and he rolled with it, it never happened again. I let him know I thought it was pretty sorry but we are still friends. I have no idea if he ever confessed to his wife or not. I have a former friend that had a 1 year affair with a friend of his wife. Our wives were friends and we had the same social circle. Eventually it came out and it devastated his wife, ruined lots of friendships and had some repercussion in our work setting not to mention how it hurt his relationship with his children. We are no longer friends. People make mistakes but to do what Tiger did is pretty disgusting to me. That being said, it in no way effects me enjoying wathcing him play golf. The key is marry a sexy woman that likes watching a little porn with you.

That's all my point is and all it ever was. Being a "bad" person has no bearing on expertise.

John Daly was one of the most popular golfers in his day. He was also a loudmouth, obnoxious drunk who frequently embarrassed the golfing establishment. But you know what? He was true to himself. No hypocritical high-fiving of the fans... no kissing babies... no fake apologies on TV. He was like a bull in a china shop. And I kinda liked that.

Bulletin: What makes Tiger so unlikeable isn't his infidelity. It's his boorish and fake personality.

Oh right so it's his personality now. Well as i've said before, personally I've never met him so I wouldn't really know about that.

But even if he was a child molesting serial killer, It can't change the fact that he's a brilliant golfer. He's just a simple human being, like the rest of us, that happened to be fantastic at hitting a little ball around a park. Nothing more, nothing less....

It's always been his boorish personality. Bother to read back through my many Tiger posts and find one that says I don't like him 'cause he was unfaithful. Or don't. Fact is... he IS good. Too bad he'll always play 2nd fiddle to the great Golden Bear. In every aspect.

He is finished as a major player now, Never win another major title again imo.But what a amazing

Had it not been for his injuries, he probably would've had a better than average shot at beating Nicklaus' record of 18 career major victories. As it is, he's not completely out of the picture, but chances are pretty remote now. No tears shed from here, though. I'm sure Lindsey Vonn gives him all the consolation he needs.

To me his biggest flaw is his total hypocrisy toward the fans and his fake and forced personality. Coming back from his exile after the cheating scandal and playing in the Masters tournament that year.... I was still sort of rooting for him to come back. However, behaving like a born again person.... high-fiving fans and kissing babies.... only to act like a total asshole after Mickelson won the tournament.... completely turned me off on the jerk, and every since then I've rooted against him to ever overtake Jack Nicklaus in number of career majors won. He doesn't deserve to even be mentioned in the same sentence as Jack.

Damn... looks like Woods has missed the cut at yet another major (PGA Championship).
That's got to be embarrassing.
Probably another stat where he falls behind the Golden Bear.
