Manny would still be tougher opponent than a number of Floyd's recent fights, as Jack Kennedy said " we do this and the next thing not because they are easy, but because they are hard." Floyd will pick the easy and probably fight Khan so he can have a late in life KO to retire with.

Scared?! Ducking?! Some people really need to get a fucking clue. Floyd would have schooled Manny a few years ago...right now...he would brutalize him.

People forget that their common opponents, Cotto, DLH and Mosely... Pac-man DESTROYED THEM, while Floyd had his toughest fights ever.

Manny shouldn't have had that Marquez 4th fight. It was clear that Arum was gonna make them fight until Marquez "won"...

Styles make fights. If I fought and prepared for a guy 3 times, one of those 3 times I would win.

Give me a break- plus, Manny was kicking Marquez's ass before he got caught. KICKING HIS ASS!!!

Marquez was clearly juiced up. Funny how no one looked into that??

When since do we give fighters wins before the actually fight?

to be quite honest pal i dont think either of them need the other

both are multi millionaires and manny beats rios he could get a multi million pound fight again straight after

and if he won that another and/or another marquez fight for lots of bish

in fact id say manny doesnt need floyd at all, a one sided beating would end his pulling power

As long as Manny beats Rios, there's not another fighter below 160 worth mentioning in the same breath as Floyd. I'd prefer this fight over anything other than GGG or Martinez

HAHAHAHA, yea cause getting dropped in the 3rd and consistently getting tagged with counter rights throughout the fight, landed a flash knockdown himself and then got KTFO by yet another clean perfectly timed RIGHT HAND

and yes styles make fights, that's distinctly why Marquez has whooped Pacquiao's ass 4 times already, Pacquiao lucky to have the judges in his pocket the other 3 times out, cause even when he would nit pick when he'd give Marquez his rematches it would always bite him in the ass

as for the common opponents, there should be a * next to the conditions each fought them in

DLH - Floyd took him on at 154 when DLH had just come off of a sensational win against Ricardo Mayorga, Pacquiao took him on at 147 a weight where he hadn't fought at in over 10 yrs, coming off a shitty performance against Forbes, and where Roach himself said that he knew that DLH had to be re-hydrated by IV

Cotto - Pacquiao took him forcing him to a catchweight, and after Cotto was coming off a weak showing against Clottey, also Cotto literally had no corner going into that fight, Mayweather took on Cotto after he beat Margarito around the ring in a dominant win, and a good trainer behind him, also fought at the full weight limit of 154 not at a catchweight

Mosley - Mayweather took him on when he was coming off his last big win a TKO of Margarito, and although he was stunned in the 2nd round, he went on to dominate the rest of the round and if he would have applied more pressure he probably could have stopped Mosley later on in the fight, Pacquiao took on Mosley after Shane had already lost to Floyd and fought to a draw against Sergio Fucking MORA lol and even if he dropped Shane in the 3rd, Mosley scored up a KD of his own (doesn't matter how real it was, it was counted) against Pacquiao

now lets go to the other common opponent, Marquez - he arguably beat Pacquiao 4 times, and clearly KNOCKED HIM THE FUCK OUT in the only KO WIN OF THE RIVALRY, while Floyd beat the living snot out of Marquez easily, toying with him after being out of the sport for nearly 2 yrs, again he could have easily stopped him but didn't pressure for the KO

as for Marquez juicing? Really?! you guys are just getting sad now, first it was the infamous "foot stomping technique" lol now that Marquez was juicing, lets not forget Pacquiao's equally infamous "I'm scared of needles" statement to avoid taking blood tests for a Mayweather fight, sooooo yea just take the ass whooping in defeat, and stop trying to glorify your idol whose taken a deep fall from grace

hell Boxrec the worst ranking system on the planet was constantly used by you guys to boost up your claim for Manny being #1 and now they have him at #13 hahaha but even the credible rankings like The Ring, has him at #6 haha must suck

The Pacquiao/Mayweather horse has long since bolted & ended up in a Tesco 'beef' ready meal.

The time for them to fight was 2008/2009; sadly, in 2013, the fight no longer has the lustre it once had.

thing is back in 2008/2009 floyd would have won most of the rounds and pac would have been a hype job

I dont think so man. Pac is on a whole different level. Even if he did get destroyed he wouldnt be considered a hype job. His resume is too good.

Also Pac is much different fighter. He has so much more speed and stramina. He can throw more punches and might not have the one punch power of Alvarez but can thor harder punches much more often. But this is a whole different debate.

On topic, Pac would never have been considered a hype job.

You can't compare floyds fights to pacmans they fight completely different floyds a boxer and pacmans all action, each time they fight the same person of course it will have different results. Over the last few days I've seen a few of your posts are you really talk 1 load of shit

I think it does honestly. If they made this fight the next fight it would out sell the Alvarez fight. Its still the fight everyone wants to see but it seems to be pushed under the rug right now by the mainstream media.

This fight would have no problem being hyped up and it would be the biggest fight since Holyfield Tyson.

I think manny has less money than people think, he's already said he won fight in America again cause the tax is killing him. I think manny would jump to whatever demands floyd would offer
