Be-cause the thread is a-bout trash-talking fight-ers who can't back up their shit in the ring.

I forgot that IQ-challenged slumrats like your pal VD would not comprehend the topic of the thread and instead go off on some kind of "fruity" tangent. I'll try to dumb it down next time.
I just dont see Tito-Vargas as a good example for this thread cuz I dont really consider that backfiring on Vargas..

It was a grueling back and forth battle that had both fighters hurt. Vargas hung in there deep into the fight until he couldnt go no more.. He even knocked tito down and had him so hurt that he resorted to low blows to save himself..

IF anything, Vargas deserves nothing but praise for that fight.. Can you imagine Canelo facing GGG?

    Vargas did well for himself..

He trash-talked and then got himself knocked out. Yes it was a good fight. Yes Vargas gave it his all. Yes he went out on his shield, unlike DLH, who ran like a bitch after tasting Trinidad's power. Vargas deserves all kinds of credit. But it's still an example of major trash-talking only to get KTFO'ed. Granted, he did better than Haye against Wlad, or Zab against Tszyu, or Mayorga against Trinidad and DLH. But he still got KTFO'ed.

And yes, I can imagine Canelo facing GGG.
His overhyped ass would be knocked back into red-headed obscurity.

Chavez Jr against Martinez another example of talking too much shit only to get schooled

Margarito against Cotto in the rematch, Judah against Baldomir, etc.

Fair enough.. Oscar boxed well early but how he went about it in the later rounds was embarassing..

Terrible.... You really going to mention Margo-Cotto 2? lol How you going to brag about a fighter beating up a one-eyed handicap?

same way you'd gloat about a cheat winning with the aid of concrete in his gloves

you read the thread, it fits the criteria, stop bitching and moaning when you don't like the example given just cause it hurts your little heart

all you have to do is see Margarito/Cotto 2 Face Off, and the press conferences leading up to the fight and you'd clearly see a guy talking loads of shit out of his ass (Margacheato) and then the actual result, a one sided boxing lesson and ass whooping where the shit talked by the loser didn't nearly reflect what his punk ass did in the ring

Camacho against De La Hoya fits the bill as well
