Whew! Lopez just dropped off a solid JAB, clean clean. Start of 4th...have 2-1 Mike

This is turning into whos face holds together here...Mike boxing smart and landing. Both marked up. Lopez going for power brawling start 5th..
3-2 Mike...Lopez closing ranks, Mikes eys looking rough...Lopez balance bad, over throws alot
These idiots need to STOP comparing fighters to Arturo Gatti...4-2 Mighty Mike. He boxed his nug last round
Mikes right eye looks shit![]()
Better, sharper round Lopez. Controlled the ropes and combos...4-3 Mike
On a side note if you seek any objectivity, mute these GBP hacks on the mic. Somewhere...Jim Lampley is mouthing "WTF"![]()
Ugly cut on Mike ruled headbutt...blood everywhere...4-4 even up here
Ohhhh shit. This is going to be "interesting".....I have never heard a Dr. ask the ref if he could confirm a fighter not seeing, after the fighter indicated he could NOT see![]()
77-74 x2...76-75...Lopez ehh. Mike deserved far better
Lopez has already been where is is going to go ring wise. Just being honest
Both of these guys are going where they will, but it's just as well Lopez got that stoppage imo. He's guaranteed entertainment and can be a great gatekeeper, guy can't put on a bad show. He'd make good fights with Alvarado or Rios on the comeback trail and could win those, or the loser of Broner-Maidana, Thurman-Karass etc.
Gotta agree there, Lopez really doesn't do anything different from any other free swinger. Mike really kept it together and picked his spots nicely. A rematch would be deserved as ending was mucked up.
Wasn't clear on conversation in corner but likewise I don't recall a ref lawyering a Dr like that recently. If a fighter says he cannot see...4,5 times! Then that's a wrap. You don't ask a Dr "can you confirm that"![]()
One last thing/question. When Arnaoutis was being asked if he could see out of the eye. Do you think he was saying? "No, I can't see now!" or "No, I can't see when I'm bleeding!"
The ref and the doc were asking about that moment but Arnaoutis was talking about when he was fighting and bleeding.
What else could have prompted that odd question? "Can you confirm that?"
If you think I'm wrong, tell me. I'm interested.
