Soliman's gonna wish Steve Smoger was the ref tonight. Smoger would never stop the fight with a guy trying as hard as Soliman.

In the Dawson Karpency fight the doctor was in the corner worrying about Dawson's left hand. Smoger told the doctor Dawson was fine and that he wasn't throwing his left as "strategy"!

That Doctor was an idiot looking at the overhead arena monitor, hoping he could get a recording.

Decent hard job and execution by Taylor, Soliman gets the moral victory but Taylor will hand this trinket off rather quickly and probably at the end of a brutal ko. Chins don't improve with age and wear

Edit...Respect where respect is due. Good for Taylor! Please do not fight Golovkin..

Yeah I hope he stays far far away from Golovkin, have him fight an easy fight or two make some dough and then retire without being ktfo hopefully.

Looks like Floyd now has 2 potential champions as candidates to fight at MW! HAHAHA! (But he clearly could have taken Soliman as well...)

It's just weird that these two are fighting for a world title 10 years after they should have been. Strange fight - did not look anything like a world title fight.

Was a lacklustre championship fight. But, it is what it is. This is also a bi-product of the Floyd/Manny mega shows- it leaves resources, time and people who would more than otherwise have been ppv and premium cable fights turn to ESPN and Fox Fights, along with NBC and the like.

How long before Taylor gets in there with a live guy and gets smashed in his jaw? He didn't look like the Taylor who won his first title at all. The fight almost seemed like a high-priced sparring session- courtesy of Al Haymon.

Haymon is turning into a boxing deity of sorts! It's a little disturbing. After every match you have to hear Haymon's name mentioned, regardless of the promoter.

The major networks are to blame for this as well.

Holy shit! HAHAHAaaa! You're such a hater that you managed to find a way to blame Floyd for the Taylor Soliman Fight!
