Was watching a documentary on former President Ronald Reagan the other day, and this is what he said to Mrs. Reagan when she rushed to the hospital after a would-be assassin shot him as he came out from delivering a speech in D.C.

.... and here I thought he was being original.

Yeah Dempsey was the man. Reagan wanted to be like Clarke Gable & Gable was made a star because he had a Dempsey like quality, so he got the best Hollywood scripts while Reagan got the B side movies slapping the maybeline off women.
