I'm a pothead and I was booing him. Although to be fair I'm not classy either. That wasn't the fight I was expecting. That wasn't Vazquez-Marquez 3, it was V-M 4.

One of the biggest non-performances I can remember in the last few years from a supposed elite fighter. Had absolutely no idea what to do in there, stood there like a punching bag until the ringside doctor took pity on him. Alvarez is a boxing tragedy waiting to happen, he's so god damn robotic in there and takes so much punishment every fight.

Thank god they stopped it, that could have easily ended up being another Magomedov situation.

Talk about a paycheck fight! What a disgraceful performance by a fighter who admitted he wasn't "Fully Prepared" for the fight, give me a break! You tell from the first minute he didn't really want to fight, just was there to get a paycheck! Time to hang-em up.

All things considered, think he was as prepared as he was capable of. You could see it in lead up, on the edge almost...used up.

Yes, I admittedly picked Alvarado. In no way did I expect him to perform like that. Rios looked good, he wasn't flabby as he has been lately. He obviously trained and took it seriously. He also put together several coherent sentences without a swear every other word. I thought he was gone, sad to see Mike lose but glad to see Rios still has an intact brain. Maybe Floyd will pick Rios next, that would be an easy one for Floyd.
