When you typed this: it's simply just a difficult concept for me to compare THIS...
Once again, you've exposed your love for boxers over boxing. Rhetorical question: Why must you compare box(ers) in order to appreciate box(ing)?
I love guitar, but I'm not gonna get into the dumb spiel of someone telling me Jimi Hendrix is the best that ever lived.
He never did arpeggios, never did harmonic minor scales, mixolydian to dorian modes. Yet those who do that today, never created. Never figure out that feedback could be controlled. To this day their sounds come from digital sound processors-aka computer generated peddles. Jimi Created a masterpiece with a wah-wah peddle and volume....followers pefected this.
Put that back to boxing. & here is what you have: Wladimir & his era..aint created a damn punch. not a new set of footwork, jack, nanda zilch, douhnut. Bigger muscles, better vitamins dont make the inner being any more daring or warrior-like Intangibles wont come from vitamins or workout equipment anymore than a guitar player with 10 thousand dollars worth of equipment will ever pack the house of a Jimi Hendrix or Carlos Santana who captivate us not with super duper scales, but their soul placed into every note, every string thats bent.
John Sullivan, James Corbett ,Jack Johnson , Sam Langford, Benny Leonard Ray Robinson: them boys gave us the uppercut, overhand, jab, hook. Them boys created footwork..
Aint shit been created since then.
So why would I want to compare a creationist vs a perferctionist?
Simple, unless I am a fan of boxers, not boxing.
I partially take back my comment on your intellect. You're knowledageble, just not wise...yet.
