I'll go ahead and say this fight won't be competitive if it happens, don't see why it won't look like the Curtis Stevens fight again. Lemiuex probably has a good bit more power, but he'd be looking to do the same thing and would be on the receiving end of the same thing.

I wouldn't be surprised if Golovkin throws caution to the wind and realizes the PR opportunities of making this a Matthysse/Provo affair to scoop up the loose fans still disappointed with may/pac, klitch/jennings, and other fights that didnt live up to the hype. If he decided to freight train monroe for the fans enjoyment... he's got a golden opportunity here for a barn burner. Lemmy's no monroe though when it comes to trading...

That decision could turn out to be a blessing or a curse.

Lemieux for all his power is nowhere near someone like Murray, either defensively or in his ability to take punishment and so without the feet to get away, he will find himself stuck in the corner and Gennady will deploy that swingball like metronomic hooking barrage, like a hyperactive Newton's cradle from hell, and the Canadian monster will fall, along with a nations hopes and dreams. Either that or GGG gets complacent and walks into one of the handsome Godzillas bombs and gets sparked tfo.

So your prediction is that either GGG will win, or Lemieux will win.

That's assuming Lemieux even has enough skill to time Golvokin that well, himself.

It's pretty clear in my post what I am saying. Unless he gets complacent GGG will overwhelm and stop Lemieux. He is so much better that he would need to carelessly walk onto something huge for the Canadian to win. It's highly unlikely but this is boxing and anything can happen. That is not the same as sitting on the fence.

That IF is what makes boxing irresistible to most of us. We want to know/see all about that IF.
That IF is what fuels boxing, in my opinion.
Even when you are positive about who the winner will be, you still have to watch to see IF you are right.

Everyone's talking about GGG's chin, but I think you're gonna see Lemieux also go hard to the body and break GGG down.

And what, slip all of Golovkins punches at the same time? Outlast him? Lemiuex can't take a fraction of what he dishes out and he isn't nearly defensively sound enough to have anything but a punchers chance here. THe N'dam fight was awesome of course, but what does it say that Lemieux couldn't finish a guy he could hurt that easily, and actually looked the worse for wear in the 12th round? N'dam has no chin and no punch either, just good skills and a ton of heart. GGG has all of those things to spare.

Sounds like fence sitting to me. I'm the king of fence sitting and it sounds like something I'd say, it's almost like looking in the mirror! You might be better looking but it's arguable. See what I mean?Don't deny it, you are guilty of fence sitting.
