Another reason why male Lion would win its mane protects it from neck bites, and Tigers instinctively as hunters bite the neck...the equaliser imo is that a big siberian is 650 pounds, and a big lion is 450, and the tiger is more agile. Alot of this agility is nullified by the fact animals have no fighting training obviously and they can maximize their advantages, but a I know for a fact caspian tigers were good fighters that could easily kill a lion.

umm i saw this on the science channel...they put a female lion in the cage with a tiger and the tiger went to the corner and sat with its back against the wall...also a male lion would destroy a tiger because the male lion is much stronger than a female lion...and the female lion would beat the tiger as well...ask your self this?

I've already cleared this up...I saw this experiment on the discovery channel where a group of scientists got together to find out which would win....THE LION would...based off the facts that they hunt,spar with each other, fight everyday and they are more aggressive....THE TIGER only kills using stealth and doesn't hunt everyday nor does it have the luxury of being able to spar with pride members....they also put a female lion in a cage with a 500pound male tiger and after a few moments of starring each other down the tiger went to the corner and sat with his back in a defensive position....

A WW boxer would kick the shit out of an ordinary 200pound civilian.....why? because the boxer is trained for it...
