Everything you say here actually counters your Klitschko brothers my friend.. Because Kirk Johnson is a much much different fighter and so Lewis not only didn't prepare properly for Vitali but he bulked up and was prepared to go up against Kirk Johnson who is/was a much more physical fighter.. In spite of his being conditioned completely wrong against Vitali he still opened up one of the worst cuts I have ever seen, at least on TV.. Lewis was heaving badly early in the fight and he wasn't sharp with his jab or anything, he was prepared for a completely different fight, and thus he had to fight plodding forwards forcing the action, a way I had never seen him fight before, and he did still open a trech on the guy's face.. I have no doubt that he would have beat Vitali with relative ease at his best, and against Wlad it couldn't possibly be close imo.. Theres no way Wlad wouldn't eat one good right hand and well, he couldn't take it whatsoever.Originally Posted by bilal
You forgot the part about how when Wlad got beat he never tried to avenge his losses and had his brother do it for him. Lennox always went right back to the guy that knocked him out. Can you name one time Wladimer ahs done thatOriginally Posted by bilal

Lennox is better.
How can you say he had his brother avenge his loses for him?Wladimir is only 30 years old and has plenty of time to fight Brewster and has said he want's to avenge that loss. And yes skill wise he is better than Lewis.Originally Posted by Starr
well, i doubt he is going to fight Ross Purity and Corrie Sanders in rematches don't you?Originally Posted by Klitschkofan

no way wlad is better than what lewis was....no way...
Sanders would have blasted him out of there all over again as he would have Vitali, if he had the same chin as his brother. I just don't see any case for Wlad standing a chance against Lewis.. Vitali took some massive shots against a badly conditioned Lennox, ones that would KTFO of his brother. That uppercut, can you imagine Wlad.. Come on.
I guess I don't understand the point. So in order to be a great HW you have to avenge all of your loses? What Like Tyson,Holyfield,Byrd,Holmes,Spinks........Hey wait a minute?News flash, it rarely works out that a fighter can immediately get a rematch with a fighter just because he wants to, both guys have to agree! The loss to Puritty was just inexperience on his part, and after the fight with Sanders he took some time off, Sanders did not and the fight with Vitali was made.Sanders fought once more and then retired, what is Wladimir supposed to do?It is no fault of his.He will face Brewster again I am quite sure being that he is only 30 years old!Originally Posted by The_One77

Quite possibly the most insane thread I have read.................ever.
I'm thinking the guy who started it is winding us up. There is no way Wlad can compare to Lennox on either acheivment or ability. Even if Wlad goes on to beat Byrd and Rahman, he doesn't come close, Lennox at his best would have literally wiped the floor with those two.
Only two losses in Lennox career, the first one due to inexperience (and not against Ross Purity either) and the second one due to severe lack of conditioning, plus he came back to avenge both emphatically.
I'll give the older Klit credit though, he was never in his profesional career behind on points and lost two very technical knockouts, however even he couldn't come close to beating a prime and in shape Lewis. Wlad however is an alphabet champion at best.
Lennox is the best heavyweight of this era period. No one can say wlad is better than lewis. Anyone who does, please get your head checked. Vitali had the potential to be the best of this era, but for one reason or another it never happened, which is exactly why wlad isn't gonna be the best of this era either.
Remember the good old days, we miss you Marco!
#1 Everyone bulks up for Vitali tooOriginally Posted by p4pking
#2 Kirk is NOT a more physical fighter than Vitali
#3 Lewis was just plain old, not "out of shape" not "under trained", just old
#4 Vitali was planing to fight Leo Nolan or someone of that nature so he had a FAR greater step up in class than Lewis did, Johnson was at least top 20-30 whereas Nolan is a nobody
#5 Lennox has had a history of tough fights with taller fighters especially ones who can jab with him!
-Ray Mercer
-Shannon Briggs
-Evander Holyfield
-Zeljko Mavoric
-Oliver McCall
-Tony Tucker
I'm not saying at Lewis' peak he wouldn't have beaten Vitali but it would still have been a very difficult fight for him.
