When it comes to past fighters, I don't really know too many, only recently got into the sport, but remember watchin Eubank as a kid, and thoughthe was awesome.

As for current fighters, it's Joe Calzaghe, Valuev (just for showing that size IS everything), and locally, Scott Pemberton is looking good from the scraps of him I've seen.

    Past : Nigel Benn

You always got to see a tear-up with this guy. I can remember crying when I was 12 after Nigel made his first emotional 'retirement' speech after the Malinga right. I cried again when he did his next speech a couple of years later. He came back after that aswell, so I felt a bit of dumbass.

    Present : Ricky Hatton

Always very aggressive - it's a while since I've seen get in one of those trademark body punches. I was going to say Calzaghe, but it's easy only to remember the Lacy fight of recent and not the fights before that like the awful Robin Reid fight (was it worse than Harrison v Williams? I can't quite remember).

    Past: Paul "Scrap Iron" Ryan.

Every boxing fan should have a copy of the 'Lords of the Ring' (think it was some Warren production) with his interviews and fight footage. Pure COMEDY. An absolute legend. Completely irrelevant how poorly skilled a fighter he actually was, his name will always live on in my circle of friends anyway.

    Present: SRCJJ

Again, names like that deserve our respect. Comedian.

Whoever picks Calzaghe as their current favourite fighter needs their head read. Beat up the most overhyped fighter of the last 10 years - Lacy. Then just breaks his hands all the time and never fights. Wow, how exciting.
