Watched Running Man, the remake, which was actually very good. I expected the worst but the updated version was entertaining. The extreme version of reality TV and how it seduces viewers to forget real life issues hits home.

Finally got around to watching The Martian and thought it was better than expected. I've never had a problem with very small casts and maybe repetitive story tellingbut you can only get so broad about a stranded survivor. Made me think of Cast away or Hell in the Pacific in spots. Recycling of spuds and small materials was interesting, but it got a little hokey near the end. Hey man Damon just isn't Lee Marvin, but good movie

Matt Damon is good in Martian Decent film. Loved him and Robin Williams in Good Will Hunting.
