I'd say overall, for a 3rd party on severely limited funds, I did fairly well on this poll.

    Eat my shorts, Ron Paul.

Locally Its a sad joke. This State is about to re-elect corrupt "Dollar" Bill Jefferson to represent us who give a new meaning to "Cold, hard, cash" .He'll have a run off with Helana Moreno who is a former local news caster.Eager, youthful and not bad on the eyes but not a snowball's chance in hell.

I've voted in 3 presidential elections now and they always look like landslides one way or the other early...

Obama seems to be leading quite comfortably though... I mean, exit polls are flawed but they normally are pretty decent.

I voted for you because you posted pictures of purdy girls in another thread. Let that be a political lesson for you.

Too bad for McCain he didn't have a time machine. That Cindy McCain looks like she could have been a hot little number, say, like ...50 years ago.

Here's a nice photo album of some of the more insightful moments from the mental giant that was George W. Bush (sadly no footage of the pretzel choking episode):

    This makes me happy

Barack Obama has reached out to Illinois Rep. Rahm Emanuel, a prominent Jewish congressman, to be his chief of staff.

Carrying a majority of the popular vote, Obama did especially well among women and young voters, who polls showed were particularly sensitive to the current climate of everything being fucked. Another factor contributing to Obama's victory, political experts said, may have been the growing number of Americans who, faced with the complete collapse of their country, were at last able to abandon their preconceptions and cast their vote for a progressive African-American.

Citizens with eyes, ears, and the ability to wake up and realize what truly matters in the end are also believed to have played a crucial role in Tuesday's election.

"Obama had the foresight to run for president at a time when being an African-American was not as important to Americans as, say, the ability to clothe and feed their children," Pung continued. "An election like this only comes once, maybe twice, in a lifetime."

Just so everyone knows I was not serious about the highlighted part.
