Well hey buddy I call it like I see it....UFC = John Ruiz.....and I ain't a John Ruiz fan.
I'm just an old school boxing fan: if you can't beat someone with your fists and your brain then you don't deserve to beat them.
Under no means would I kick someone in a fight, be it street or anything else
Don King CAN make huge fights .....even ones that should have happened long ago and (make them worth while) ie Lewis-Tyson.

UFC is a nothing upstart looking for attention
It has wrestling,but none of the fighters could survive in Olympic Wrestling
It has kickboxing,but none of its kickboxers could survive proper Muy Thai
It has Boxing,but none of them survive proper boxing
Its in its birthing stages,so maybe one day it will be something,its very possible
But for it to be compaired to any of the above,right now,is pure hype and BS
And morons like Rogan who try to,are turning it in to the WWE,when maybe with time,it could be a legit style of fighting

matt lindland is silver medalist wrestler and Dan henderson was an olympic wrestler, but with your disdain for MMA I would n't expect you to know them

"a pure UFC fight" is a paradox. MMA fighters at the top all came from one discipline or another, but got to the top through extensive cross training in striking(fists/knees/kicks/elbows), wrestling(takedowns, defense,body control) and submissions
