Look at how many people insulted Calzaghe and said he was chicken and that he "faked" his injury. Where are those writers now?

This guy just commited career suicide.. Floyd is gonna dominate Margarito in such a fashion he'll wish they never fought so he could still write his ridiculous articles
This coming from a Zab fan

Umm we all know now that Oscar is not fighting him anymore...... Zab judah has nothing to offer as far as stock goes so most likely he'll be suspended..... its just gonna be another excuse not to fight winky Mayweather refuses to go 50-50 and winky is in a position to fight any big name and get paid what he wants now.... the only one is sugar shane and i doubt he's gonna take that challenge Mosley said he'll fight him after he beats vargas we'll see tonight around 10 when he's finished with his boxing talk interview. But on the other hand hatton does wanna fight mayweather now because he said that mayweather has no class and is rude so if i was mayweather i would go with hatton first but if hatton doesn't except then the only thing for him to do is to fight Margarito because its not always bout money if ur a true boxer its about giving the fans what they want the fans wanna see Margarito vs Mayweather bad and if he turns down this fight whether u guys like it or not its gonnna make him look bad.... personally i like Judah alot but he has no stamina i dont think a rematch this year would be smart he needs to go into some serious training and get his stamina up because what ever type of training he does right now isn't working. Basically if Margarito doesn't lose even if he beats hatton he has to please the fan or be rich and criticized for not fighting him. I know Mayweather fan will probably tell me to eat shit but its the truth

wouldn't mind seeing PBF fight Mayorga at 154. Just for the press conferences with Floyd, Roger and Mayorga.

Interesting you bring this up. Mayorga has a better shot with Floyd than with Oscar...the style thing and Oscar can take a good shot. Floyd can't take sh*t...Judah's punches wouldn't be close to Vargas, DLH, Trinidad, Mayorga, etc...
Mayorga would KO in 4 rounds.

Just like Judah should have done against baldomir, thats the difference between those two I guess, still I doubt mayweather would take on mayorga after oscar makes him damaged goods. Saying that, it wouldn't surprise me, he took the Judah fight!

more on the margarito: mayweather issue......again its hot blooded stuff.....

    Margarito: Floyd's a "**********"
    By Scoop Malinowski

"Why doesn't he want to step in the ring and find out who I am?"

WBO Welterweight champion Antonio Margarito is not very pleased this week at what he believes was a classic duck job by Floyd Mayweather.

Mayweather refused an $8 million dollar payday - plus upside - against Margarito from Bob Arum, supposedly because his hand hurts and because he wants to see how Oscar does on May 6th against Mayorga. In another bewildering business decision, Mayweather, who all year has been calling Bob Arum "the greatest promoter of all-time" and "I love Bob Arum" has suddenly split with his longtime promoter this week.

We spoke with Margarito manager Sergio Diaz about these developments which have shocked much of the boxing world.

Boxinginsider: How does Team Margarito feel for now after losing the Mayweather fight?

Diaz: "It's very upsetting. Antonio was looking forward to doing this. We're on board. We have to get Mayweather on. Unfortunately he didn't want to fight Antonio. We have to go back to the drawing board. See who wants to fight us. Like I said, it's very upsetting."

Boxinginsider: Obviously Antonio must be pretty angry at Floyd. Could you tell me what some of his comments were upon hearing the news that Floyd did not want to fight him for over $8 million dollars? Translate to PG-rated please.

Diaz: "Antonio said some pretty bad things. He said some pretty bad things about Floyd in Spanish [laughs]."

    Boxinginsider: Such as?

Diaz: "Well, what's the word? He pretty much called Floyd a maricon, a homosexual. For not stepping in the ring with him. How could this person who calls himself pound-for-pound best and not fight me? And say, Who is Antonio? Why doesn't he want to step in the ring and find out who I am?"

Boxinginsider: I take it he's kind of not surprised, that he sort of saw this coming from Floyd.

Diaz: "He's not surprised. He's disappointed. We knew going in that Floyd was hesitant. We knew the possibility was there that Floyd wouldn't take the fight. But the hope was always there. Antonio is not surprised. He knows that anyone who has stepped in the ring with him, it was for the opportunity to fight for the title. The big names do not want to go in there with Antonio. But now they can no longer say the money isn't there. Floyd would have got close to $10 million to fight Antonio."

Boxinginsider: Judging by the emails I get on this, many of the Floyd fans who were calling me crazy last week are now seeing the light. They are stunned Floyd is refusing to fight Antonio and they have lost respect for the manner in which he did it.

Diaz: "That's one of the positives. His fans are coming out and admitting Floyd is afraid of Margarito. That's one thing that's positive. But it's difficult. We're still not getting the big fights."

Boxinginsider: Where do you go from here?

Diaz: "We'll see what's gonna be next. We'll see who wants to fight us. I'll be in Las Vegas next week for the Boxing Writers Dinner. Antonio will be there too."

Note: Boxing fans, please send in your email questions for Antonio Margarito by next Tuesday high noon to mrbiofile@aol.com.

its interesting stuff, but at the end of the day its all politics.....

floyd is recovering from hand injuries inflicted because of the judah fight....he obviously hasnt even decided who he is to fight next....the margarito camp though is relentless in its badgering of mayweather....

again, i think only time will tell on this one...

lets not count our chickens before they hatch!

Margarito keeps talking when Mayweather responds with his fist he'll wish he was quiet like he used to be.
