Hatton won 114/113 IMO
I scored it Rounds 1 (10-

, 2, 4, 7, 9 and 11 to Hatton rounds 3, 5, 6, 8, 10 and 12 to Collazo.
Rounds 3 and 8 could of gone either way.
Hatton took another step to proving he could become a great fighter. A skill that is going to be required is the ability to win a fight that was close, and not dominated by yourself.
It is a bit eye opener to Hatton fans, because even in the Tszyu fight, it was not
this close. Well get use to it, because the same journey is almost certainly going to happen to Ricky when he hopefully steps into the ring with a Mayweather or de la Hoya...
But one think I have not read about so far, is what a superb performance by Collazo. The man gutted it out big time from a horrible start. Collazo may not of had the pedigree going into the fight, but he sure deserves another big fight down the line on this performance.
Perhaps Lil Floyd or Zab Zab may want to show Ricky where he went wrong... but then again perhaps not, no one is going to look good against Collazo if he carries on fighting like he did this morning!
