Since when has he ever cried about that? He knew he won it and moved on. Why would he cry about paying money to Roach when it was the judges that took that fight from him?

OK... This is whats up. Manfredo has a tough road ahead of him to prove himself after the lose to Gomez and the 1...thats right 1 lose to mora which he avenged (for you BigRagu)

He will most likely take on a Shieka'esk apponent in order to see where he stands... the contender people(whom he still has a contract with) are telling him who and when he can fight... they prob dont want him in with dangerous opposition so it doesnt make "the contender" look like a sham...

after a spina or shieka fight i guarentee all u nay sayers that he will step up his comp to a froch or a green even poss catching lacy honeing his new techniques... not one of u have ever even SEEN him fight prior to the contender(maybe im wrong but most of u)... I live in RI and have been watching him since he was fighting in the nationals against taylor(taylor beat him twice i think...and didnt see that fight but just giving the timeframe)... saw him fight @ foxwoods on multiple occations thats why I was so excited when he was on a nationally telivised show... He didnt look like himself in any of the fights... he looked unfocused and rattled... it irritated me cuz thats not him... roach didnt teach peter much he didnt already know but taught him how to implement them...shortened his punches...fients... and what have u. I dont know about kessler so i dont talk about him... i dont know about beyer so i dont talk about him... everybody seems to think they know this kid cuz they saw him fight like 4 times... and in 5 round bouts when he was used to 10 and 12... I love u guys but u amaze me sometimes with how fickle u can be... you cant judge without seeing the whole picture and u havent... I even havent but more so then many of u therefore i can compile an educated oppinion..................

He will be a top tier fighter (top five) in the SMD in the next 3 years

I am aware of Lacy's defecienties and just hopeing he will have it in him to make adjustments he was mediocre at best against Calzaghe....I have been following him for quite a few years before anyone knew who he was and I just loved to see the ferocious punching power but you cant get by on just that..

3) defensive improvements
4) refine boxing skills

He will be fine, time will tell ultimately

NO NO NO, he will never be fine if you equal fine to be a master of boxing - Lacy has always lost in the top competition and he will continue. He does NOT have the tools to fight Kess, Calzaghe, Mundine etc. even he is liked and hyped by most as you does....

Please tell me: how the heck should he beat Tarver, Kessler, Mundine and other boxers, when he does not have the tools to beat journey men Ross and Omar?
