Maybe, it'll teach him not to turn down fights against the best fighter in the division. If Strum would of took the Taylor fight and lost. It would not be as bad as what happened today.

Unless he was KTFO in round 1! After this performance I wouldn't be too surprised.
Even if he gets a rematch and wins, he won't gain any respect. He is as good as done.

Yeah, you're right ... a two time middleweight champion with 27 years, after his first
real loss ... by all means he is done ...should give up his gloves and not even dare to
    fight again...

Do you really believe that? If so...maybe you should change your name from Pantera to Royal...or one of the 100 completely blind aliases that he uses.

I honestly would have thought better of you than a comment like that.

I'll keep that in mind when your boy get's his ass handed to him. Bank on it.

Castillejo actually is good. Do the match & watch some of his previous matches. He's talented.

    So is Sturm.

No, honestly I don't think he's done. I'm just playin'.
I do however think it will be awhile for him to get the respect that he had.
And yea, I think his chin is now a big question, so Taylor could've gotten him out early.
And for you last comment. I don't think I have to worry about it, but I do expect to get a lot of S*** if it does happen.

Anything can happen. Trust me. I didn't expect Sturm to get TKO'd or Oscar got get KO'd by Hopkins...but that shat happens...

I would bank on getting a lot of shit about it though. Anytime you put all your hopes on one fighter...you always get shit in the end.

    Fact of life.

I'm gonna have to see the fight, I'm absolutly STUNNED, you can't call sturm a fraud though, what he's done in the past is not the behaviour of a fraud, but damn, maybe its because his bell was rung that he struggled, anyway, i'll have better jugdement once ive seen the fight.

Sturm said in the interview after the hospital visit, that he only fought subconsciousnessly
after the rnd 2 kd...,didn't look like that ,but he took a lot of hits...
Man.. tell me about being stunned ... I'm still shocked
But watch the fight and tell us your thoughts...

Not back peddlin, just being realistic. Done is pretty harsh. Do I think he will ever be able to beat a true champion? I doubt it after what I saw, but he definatley can still make some noise in the middleweight division. And who knows, maybe this was a learning experience and he will come back and have the last laugh. Like Wacko said, this is boxing... full of surprises!

Everyone finds a boxer they like and follow. When they finally lose (and they all eventually do) it sucks. But we're just fans. We're not in the ring throwing the punches and taking the hits. Out of our control. You can't take it too personally when people give you S***. Plus, when your guy takes the big steps and he wins, it makes it all worth it.

Damn true bro, but a prime example of the shat u talkin about is me having Ricky Hatton as my pic or u having your username as pantera, one day your bound to get your heart broken! Thats the nature of the game!
