Just read over the article again, and this bit at the end really pisses me off.. Who the hell does he think he is, to act like he can demand more.. Mayweather would have to raise his game if they were to "arrange a meeting in the ring"... As if Hatton is coming off some spectacular performance or something... He hasn't even been active since beating Tszyu he hasn't done a damn thing.. If Hatton had beat Collazo in a manner Floyd did Baldomir and then Castillo or Cotto or somebody, sure he could demand just as much but as it is there is no way he can think that he is as big an attraction in the states, it's so laughable honestly.

Hatton should be cautious with the verbiage. He almost got put to sleep in his last fight. And he wasn't fighting anywhere near the caliber fighter of Floyd.

p4p it does seem a little contradictory HOWEVER....the GREAT fighters push themselves when they know they can do better....Floyd coasts....it's the same S*** RJJ caught in his prime too.

Like I said a combination here and there wouldn't hurt....it's not like he had to sit down on those punches and break his hands and try to KO Baldomir.....what he did vs Gatti is what I expect him to bring to every fight...a willingness to PROVE himself, a willingness to SHOW THE CROWD, SHOW THE FANS AT HOME that he is capable of great things.

This is one of the most headscratching posts I have read of yours.....Floyd Coasts?? His training regimen and preperation is inhuman and mind boggling not to mention his focus and disicplined is years ahead of his age Yea he coasts to one sided ass kickings and school sessions making his opponent look like amatuers...... Not to mention this was the only fight you can accuse him of so called coasting was against a natural 190 lb guy with a head bigger than Wlad Klit ........I think you have Floyd confused with Hasim Rahman...

Agreed. Here's the thing...on top of being undefeated, Floyd has produced 4 TKO's & 4 dominating performances in his last 8 fights...so I really don't think people should be that critical of the guy.

Everyone's entitled to an opinion...but if you start comparing all these records & opponants...well...they don't look that impressive or better up against Mayweather's.

Margarito, Hatton, Oscar, Mosley, & even Winky have all either suffered loses or fought some weaker opposition & everyone's all on their jocks.

People are so eager to pick apart Floyd's opposition...but when the shoe is on the other foot...somehow their favorite fighter's get a passover or some excuse that is supposed to legitimize either their loss, shitty performance, or lack of opposition.

It's kinda ridiculous.

I'm not saying Floyd's a God or anything like that...but he surely doesn't deserve some of the ridiculous criticism that he get's from people.
