Sure, but--with the exception of JMM, who's not actually on my top 10 and Pacquiao, who I don't think you can really argue is lower p4p than Ricky--they were all to other top 10 fighters. MAB, B-Hop . . . . The fact that Castillo got stopped well after Corrales would have been counted out if he hadn't cheated and spit out his mouthpiece multiple times doesn't knock him down the list for me, sorry. I'll knock him down if he loses to Hatton. I guess you'd put Nikolay Valuev at #3 since Pac lost a year ago and Valuev is undefeated and has an alphabet strap, right?

Read my points again, this will be Hattons 4th world title fight between two weights on the bounce. Who else besides Floyd has done that?

Oscar de la Hoya. James Toney. (neither are on my list--though, come to think of it, Oscar is better than Hatton) plenty of others, also not on my list. read my points again, 2 out of 4 of those fights are against complete bums. an alphabet strap is irrelevant to the p4p list. the fact that you won it from someone is also fairly irrelevant if that person was a bum like Maussa or Urango.

You made excuses for Tzsyu who had just destroyed Mitchell in 3, F***, even Kostya said Ricky deserved the win, he made him quit on his stool FFS

I don't think destroying Mitchell stands for much, but that was actually 7 months earlier. And happened a full 22 months after his previous fight. And Tszyu didn't have his injured shoulder in that fight. Maybe you missed that part. Anyway, I'm not saying he didn't deserve to win--I had him up by a point against a clearly un-prime KT. He deserved to win.

You say he got a gift against Collazo - A UD in the champions backyard with 3 THREE American judges. A close fight, but a win is a win is a win. 7 weeks prep to step up a weight and fight a bonafide Welterweight world champion who rocked him for ten seconds in the 12th and he got a gift!!!

Do you want to bring up how the HBO guys had it for Hatton too? Hatton has a much bigger upside, and is a much bigger investment for a lot of people than Collazo is. Collazo may have been at "home" (not really, since boston and NYC are rival cities), but Ricky is the celebrity, not Collazo. But nearly every boxing columnist in the country had it a draw or 114-113 for Collazo. The fans were booing.

Its all about opinions my friend but you have made a list up of everyone EXCEPT the man at 140lb. Says it all for me

Like I said, if he proves he's really the man at 140 by beating Castillo, then I'll put him at #8.

Nobody is arguing that Ricky isn't a very very good fighter, we all agree that he is but p4p top 10 maybe could be contested.

As shza says De La Hoya is probably better than him but not on most people's p4p.

You could also argue Cotto, Margarito, the Marquez brothers, Juan Diaz etc are all right up there and could easily be considered as good if not better than Ricky.

Ricky so far has only beaten one big name fighter, there is nobody else on his record that he woulldnt have been expected to have beaten easily.

The Tyszu win was great, BUT it was a 35 year old Tyszu who had had only 1 fight in 2 or 3 years if I remember, who had injury problems and has since retired.

Personally I would put him amongst the top 10 p4p but at the lowest end 9 or 10 but if someone feels he's not top 10 or even not top 15 it's kind of difficult to argue.

Thats not hating its just having differing opinions of a fighters merits.

If we all thought exactly the same then a discussion board like this would be very dull. :P
