Butterbean is shat and got beat by a 52 year old Holmes.
Tyson KO'd a 38 year old Holmes before he beat Mercer and fought Holyfield.
"You knocked him down...now how bout you try knockin me down ?"

I think this is the fastest KO in pro boxing is this one on Youtube.
It doesnt start untill one minite in but the karate guy is funny too!

another one comes to mind
Jimmy Thunder a Samoan guy KO'd Crawford Grmsley 97-03-18
Official time 0:13 ofthe first round so punch had to be at 3 seconds in.
see if youthink this on is sooner tho..

Holyfield was picked because he was supposed to be shot and an easy night for Tyson....Did you forget how Tyson avoided Evander pryor to jail?...Come to think of it Tyson avoided alot of fighters like Foreman, Mercer, Morrison which would have been HUGE paydays...Instead Tyson fought bums and made C fighters look very good, Razor Ruddock was/is and always will be terrible...now Buster Douglas did not beat Mike with one lucky punch he kicked the crap out of Mike, even if Tyson did not train one minute for that Fight a "c" level fighter like Douglas should have never have schooled Tyson the way he did...Mike Tyson was an exciting fighter with great potential, Mike was very carefully handled and later exposed...his feat of being the youngest is a great accomplishment and that is the extent of Mike Tysons legacy...

Ok Lets me and you get this straight......

Mike Tyson at his best was the best and most dominant and devastating heavywieght of all time and maybe the most dominant and feared boxer of all time (click of me sucking up)

But....over all.......holyfield did more against more.. dont forget the 3 fights against bowe and ruiz and twice againts tyson (i know i know your going to say NOT AT HIS BEST) and 2 against lewis . For a blown up Light heavy , not even a cruiserwieght! (he started his pro career at 176,177 !!) to fight against these guys is an amazing testament to his mental strength conditioning work ethic toughness etc etc. I hope he finds a softy to get a 5th title. he deserves it. maybe not for his last 2 performances but for the
50 before them!!
ill give u bowe but not ruiz and yes holy had a tone of hart but he struggled at hw..i know he was a natural cruiser and ive sais it many times he was the best at that weight and at heavy was inspiring since he was a cruiser weight..but its true in his prime he struggled against mediocre competion(bowe was not mediocre but a coward none the less , by fighting a cruiser weight instead of lewis) he struggled against foreman, holmes, stewart, cooper all in his prime........but i see what ur saying and im not suking up tysons a$$ but when he fought holy he only had done 8 rounds in the ring in 5 years ,he was not ready for such a damanding match that holyfeild gave him

....if holyfeild struggled at HW i wonder how marciano would have fared against bowe or lewis

really, maybe he did ,but marcianos peak weight was about 186lb thats way to small to compete with the modern day hw like bowe ,lewis or tyson

marciano hit harder than louis and i really don't believe that other than tyson these more modern fighters hit harder than those back in the golden days.
