cc#135 Klitschkofan nice call, been following him too.

Heres a post where I mentioned him as a break through fighter for 2007....
You know his fighting on ESPN:2 'Friday Night Fights' on Feb. 17th....

    Sergiy Dzinziruk
    Travis Simms
    Michael Katsidis
    Alex Arthur
    Miguel Roman
    Jorge Linares
    Juan Manuel Lopez
Thanks for the info, I didn't know he was going to be on Friday night Fights. He looks like he could be around for a while while bringing some real entertaining fights in the lightweight devision.
Funny, I went to ESPN to double check it now it's not listed I swear I saw it listed there.... My fault
But anyway like you, I to think he can bring excitement to the division and hes improved, for one hes not fighting as wild as he did before....
I went to his website and it says he will be on Friday Night Fights on February 2nd.

Isn't Katsidis the one who's had a lot of trouble getting a visa, seems like he's been scheduled to fight one ESPN 2 more than once but had to be cancelled.

I just read that he has pulled out of that fight on Feb 2nd, instead facing Graham Earl for the interim WBO title on Feb 17th.I would like to see him fight Freitas(if he wins) anyway.

There are several young Puerto Rican prospects, but look for Juan Manual Lopez (super bantamweights) at Showtime "Sho Box" next Friday January 19...

Like Oumafan said, Jean Pascal is THE BEST RJJ imitator I have seen. He still doesn't come close to the real thing, but has looked better than Andre Ward the time I saw him fight.

I like Curtis "Showtime" Stevens outta Brownsville, NY. He's got a hell of a punch and some real skills. He had a shocking upset loss to Marcos Primera, who has upset his share of prospects for a journeymen, and TKO'd Stevens in, I believe the 8th round of their first fight. I saw the rematch as well, and Stevens boxed well, and easily won every round against Primera. He tried to get Primera to brawl with him, but Primera seemed to be just coverin up most of the fight.
"You knocked him down...now how bout you try knockin me down ?"

He leaves himself wide open when he throws but he looks like he has bags of talent.

Anybody heard of Gary Sykes from Dewsbury. He's 2-0 but he's been inactive for about 8 months. He's a 2 time ABA champ. He looks very good and i was expecting him to burst onto the scene.....but nothing. Strange one.

John Murray is also a very good prospect.

Yeah! I saw him fight and meant to make note of it somewhere but I wasn't at home but I had meant to make note of it. I like him I just can't remember what I liked about him. That happens a lot with prospects.

Anthony needs to stop making those sounds when he throws punches though. That shat is annoying.

Can get a little over the top.

    Good prospect though.
