Bitching about what happened to Tarver doesnt make you any less wrong.

I think your confusing healthy respect with overating. You are excused though.
Nah, nah. No confusion. Woods is overrated. Winning a title that was stripped from somebody else for bullshit reasons is not winning the title the right way. The fact that Tarver is a hated punk doesn't make him being stripped right. The way Woods won his title was the easiest route possible for him. He didn't beat the legit World champion. I wouldn't be surprised if you taught vacant meant legit.

Who's fault is it that Tarver got stripped? Whatever your answer it isn't Clinton Woods.

Woods put himself in line for the title by fighting and winning his eliminators just like anyone else has to. You think if Tarver was an option he wouldn't have fought him?

Besides, this thread isn't about Clinton Woods legitimacy as a champion. Its about who is overrated and who is underrated. If Clinton Woods has to get a mention it should be on the side of underrated.

    Go punish yourself.

Heh heh heh heh. I had to get you on that.

As far as who I think is underratted & underappreciated...Juan Manuel Marquez & also Hopkins is underappreciated.

Many hate on the man...but he's an old school fighter, he's tactical/technical, & in the end...he's one of the premiere legends of our decade.

I'd tend to go the other way. Decent fighter, decent puncher. Nothing about him strikes me as world class though.

Not really buddy, I just saw the first Landaeta fight, he lost that fight, the ref, the judges, the whole thing was a sham. Kameda will get exposed, he's pure hype, he's good for his age and he does have potential but for now everyone stop trying to turn him into the next Jeff Lacy.

Jeff Lacy, huh? Lets see. One Is Japanese. The other is black. One is a Junior Flyweight. The other is a Super Middleweight. One is a boxer. The other is a puncher. One stands 5' 5 and weights 108. The other one is 5' 10 and weights 168. I don't think anybody is trying to turn Kameda to Lacy. Kameda struggled against Landaeta is there first fight. But he did enough to win it. And he proved it by winning the rematch a lot more easier.

Ok, not one for metaphors ok let me break it down. When I say "turning him into the next jeff lacy" I mean, hypoing him like there's no tomorrow, turning him into something he isn't, metaphorically speaking, it has nothing to do with his size, race, boxing style age, just celibrity and profile. Ok VD? I'm guessing you've just awoken from your drunken slumber and your looking for an argument. And Kameda got his ass handed to him in the first fight, no denying that shit.

You make it seem like he was dominated. Which is clearly not the case. He struggled and got dropped. But he got up and fought on. He's young. He's expected to struggle. He learned from it. Or did you not see the rematch?
