Yeah, just like I thought, you have nothing left to contribute, now you're just resorting to calling Manny's last name gay. Wow, that's a good one. One question, whose the bigger star in his country? Pac in the Phillipines or Barrera in Mexico? I'm pretty sure that Manny's could run for president and win at this point, the Phillipines shut down when he fights. Barrera probably isn't even the most liked fighter in his country. If you knew anything, you'd know that most hardcore Mexican fans love Erik Morales more than Barrera. Erik Morales came from the hard streets of Tijuana and fought his way up, Mexicans love that fact, that he struggled to the top, most Mexicans that I know think that Barrera is a spoiled little rich kid that runs his mouth and wants to be a lawyer more than a boxer.

Too right, CC...It doesnt matter which side you are on. This is a fight that creates passion and interest no matter what. Its a needed fight, and 50:50 is better than a kick in the teeth!

    Pac is avoiding Barrera

Did you see the first fight? Let me guess, you're a big proponent of the training camp fire theory

I mean FFS Pac has improved since then, Barrera's done nothing but regress as he's gotten older.

Saying Pac is avoiding Barrera is absolutely ridiculous, I mean incomprehensibly ridiculous.
Actions speak louder than words . If Pacs so confident why cant he accept a fair 50-50 split . When Lewis chaallenged Rahman in their rematch he still got more money than the champ even though he lost the 1st fight cuz he is the bigger name . Barrera is a Mexican legend . He is the big name .
Who cares if Barrera is a Mexican legend outside of Mexicans? I hate it when people try to get too nationalstic, if you're Mexican, then be proud of Barrera, but just because you're a "Mexican warrior" doesn't mean that you can just command whatever you want. F*** that. In terms of popularity in boxing to mainstream fans it's 1.) ODLH by a landslide, 2.) Mayweather 3.) A four way tie between Wlad, Taylor, Winky, and Pac-Man. Morales is more popular than Barrera now due to his fights with Pac-Man. Haha, "Mexican warrior," Barrera is the same f***** who turned into a little pussy doing illegal S*** to Manny like punching off the break and headbutting in the first fight because he was thoroughly dominated. He got blasted into outerspace because he couldn't deal with Manny's handspeed. He'll get fucked up worse this time and then Barrera can go and retire. Barrera might be a Mexican legend, but let's face it, Pac-Man is the Mexican legend killer.
A rather condesecending attitude regarding MAB there really. If it is such an easy fight for Pac then let him take it. 50% is damn fine money. This fight will be huge, and Pac has the opportunity to have almost erased the old guard and set a new plateau above and beyond.

Why wouldnt he take 50:50?? Sounds churlish. If he is so confident of victory there are other fights after MAB that could follow! Barrera is a legend and champ and deserves his payday.
Pac could take 50/50 and throw Barrera in the garbage again. But Manny would be giving MAB a million dollars that MAB doesn't deserve. This is Manny's time right now. There are plenty of fights that can be made at 130 and 135 for Manny to continue his legacy. Guzman, Valero, Marquez, Casamayor, Juan Diaz, he could even conceivably move up to 140 and try to get a fight with Hatton, Mayweather, or Corrales if he wanted. There's plently for Manny to do. MAB has nothing to do but try and avenge his loss Manny in a rematch. That's it. Judging by PPV numbers, nobody wants to watch MAB fight anymore. His time in the sun has past, it's Manny's turn to soak up all the glory and get the lionshare, he deserves it.
Just like nobody was interested in the final Morales stand off. The demand is there and PPV copybox would reflect it. In terms of a lot of boxing fans Pac: JMM 2 is appealing, but Barrera: Pac is the bigger fight..
350,000 people were interested in the Pac-EM finale. Barrera could only get 75,000 to buy his fight for Peden, and the Juarez II PPV fight was so disappointing that GBP didn't even release the numbers. This is PPV, Manny's obviously got the drawing power.

MMm, just seems your name is lurking when I get into any debate surrounding this potential fight!

Either way, i dont really care. Yes, Pac won the first fight fair and square and I have never said otherwise. And as for "bandwagon", dont try to "bandwagon" me...I argue what I think or believe and if I see someone argue something I like I will let them know. There is no bandwagon that I am any part of!

Lol that reflects the intellects of the Filipino people moreso than anything else

So leme get this straight , your argument is based upon . . we can only determine a fighters credentials by whether or not they would be sucessful in a presidential election in their homecountry ? Great one . keep em comin . you make me laugh

So what if Eriks more popular with the poorer community in Mexico . Barreras more poular with the wealthy people and I know which 1 id prefer to be suported by . Pacs a big name in Manilla only . Do you think anyone outside his country gives 2 s***s about him ? I dont .

By the way Pacquiao likes men

Morales had some impact in that too, you know. People like an underdog story and when two exciting fighters get it on that does also help. Barrera: Peden. of course it sucked. Barrera: Juarez 2? Barrera won the 1st fight fer christes sakes!!!

That any populace would vote somebody president because of widespread fame alone and because of being a successful boxer does reek of idiocy. Im sure Arny might have a crack someday!!

Now im not insulting a country of people here. Only those that would openly admit that "Pac is a fine boxer therefore he should be president". A little bit stoopid if one does so!

The president statement was sarcasm, please learn what that means. And if what you're saying about Barrera being supported by the rich is true, then those are some stingy ass rich people that wouldn't even buy his Juarez II PPV. But somehow, Morales sold a bunch of PPV to the poor people. I'd rather be supported by people who are gonna buy my PPVs, but that's just me. If Nike gives you an endorsement deal, then I think that you're a big deal. Manny is bigger in the US than Barrera. That's an actual fact.

Well in this case, the past includes a blowout win over MAB, so I'd say for the sake of this discussion, that the past is fairly relevant. Haha, get off of Barrera's nuts, you're basically swinging from them.

So whats the point youre trying to make ? That Mannys a sell out ? Weve already clearly established that the guy has no morals. Just look at that homo video he did a while back . You guys take it so personally whenever anything negative about Pac is said . Chill out . He's guna get his ass kicked soon , then wot u guna be sayin

And as for "bandwagon", dont try to "bandwagon" me...I argue what I think or believe and if I see someone argue something I like I will let them know. There is no bandwagon that I am any part of!
i dont really give undeserved cc's and sc's
ive told you we're just fans in a forum sharing our thoughts
and the only thing i hate on you is when you agree on some maniac
but i understood you (3) are allies

the only thing that makes me sad click someone
is when he goes back to 1997 from time to time to
so if youre not into that bandwagon, this means
only one person is left riding on the torrecampo sensation

    P.S
and again, youve gotta admit you gave me a sc
if not - then its the torrecampo maniac who did
I just CC'ed you which proves I didnt SC you, now CC me to see if your honesty can shine through. If im wrong about you SC'ing me CC's are yours for a week!Im known around here for being a man of my word

I dont .

By the way Pacquiao likes men
shades of corrales blasting castillo for not making the weight
i cant believe you were the one crying when i threw these so called
pedantic insults a few months back. the only mistake i did was the name calling
and if not of that i dont think your ass wont be able to dope out of that mess

    P.S.
yo Miles, was this the guy you backed up when we had our own harsh arguement?

Yeah lets only go back to 03 shall we . Anything beofre that never happend . We can only discuss the present and only bring up the past if it benefits Pac ?
nope. lets go back to 2003 where the two fighters whom we are rootin for actually fought each other.
lets go back to 2003 where reality seems not lying.
lets not go back to 1997 cuz barrera and pac didnt meet that time. pretty simple huh
not to 1997 where the truth aint really reality yah torrecampo beat his ass with a single punch
in 2003 barrera simply cant. even with an illegal blow right on the chin during a brake with pac wide open
i know its because of the metal plate on his head, because of the forrest fire, cuz he isnt on his prime,
cuz EM and JMM are inferior mexicans and because barrera wasnt focused when he threw that punch right?
wtf im talkin about . ok you win. im convinced youre not worth the debate
im outta here soothed and with a peace of mind

Wot kind of dribble was that ! You were the one crying , still posting on that thread days after I had the final word . You were still trying to justify in your head that you hadnt been completelyowned by factual evidence . Logic dictates that the same thing will happen here .
