Tito_BHB - Of Mice and Men read the book and saw the movie nice to see other people interested in that kind of stuff.

Memphis- American History X that scene made my jaw drop in disbelieve.

Here are some of my fav.

Full Metal Jacket - Private Pile blows his brains out in the restroom.
Dusk 'till Dawn - Salma Hayek butt naked.
Forrest Gump - Forrest Gump taught Elvis his dance moves.
E.T. - When the police is chasing them while they are on their bikes and E.T. makes them all fly.
Casablanca - 'Heres looking at you kid' classic.
Schindlers List - The boy hiding in the toilet full of shit, was just hard to see.
Scream - The first time you see him.
Wild Things - Denise & Neve rubbing eachother down in the pool.
Jaws - The first time you see him.

For anyone who ever saw clerks 2, "It's ok, i'm taking it back". A bi-racial friend of mine was laughing so hard at the whole scene. I thought it was funny but was amazed at the extreme it went to. The whole movie was pretty funny.

The worst possible book out there that i had to (was supposed to) read for school was Ethan Frome. Let me give you a very quick summary of the whole book.

This guy married his first cousin because well i dont really know but its probably not a good reason as she is described as featurely challeneged and thats putting it gently. His neice moves in with them, becomes their new maid and now he wants to hook up with her. He realizes they wont be able to because i dunno this either but obviously the fact they are related has nothing to do with his decision. They try a suicide attempt by sleeding into a tree he turns at the last second and his neice is paralyzed for the rest of her life and he has to take care of her and because of al the events his wife (cousin) and neice are both angry at him and act meanly towards him.

My review gives this incestial novel 5 eye roll smileys out of a possible 5

And then im asked why i was always sleeping in english class. I dunno i guess i missed out on all the good learning possibilities

the end of Shawshank Redemption when Morgan Freeman is on the bus and he's talking, saying "I think it's the kind of feeling only a free man can feel..." and he ends with "I hope to see my friend and shake his hand, I hope the Pacific is as blue as it has been in my dreams.... I hope." Then when he walk on the beach and hugs Tim Robbins.. damn. Gives me shivers every time.

another is the scene in Love Actually when Colin Firth is asking Aurelia to marry him and the family is marching through town... the music is amazing too... and pretty much everything else in the movie is fantastic.

    Mars Attacks
when the leader of the aliens shook the hand of the president, smirked
then moments later killed the president sweet.
this maybe the only movie in history where it shows the president
being massacred brutally. except of course JFK

    P.S.
and ohhh it may also have the greatest moment/scene ever..
when the aliens hear the annoying song and their heads
started to blasts everywhere the human race victorious then
and shiit the earth was save by an old bitch but unfortunately the president died

i cant believe pierce brosnan was there

    Too many to choose from

Jaws - "You're gonna need a bigger boat"

Godfather part 2 - Deniro killing the don whilst the light flickers

Crash - The scene with the little girl, the locksmith and the arab fella, VERY powerful scene. Probably one of the most powerful in cinema.

Crash again - The actual 'crash' scene

Last of the mohicans - hawkeye rescuing madeline stowe god knows how many times. Music is awesome

Raging Bull - The "you fuck my wife" scene...actually pick any scene from this awesome masterpiece.

    So many to list

seriously... the greatest scenes ive seen ever were in the movie
'The Beach' starring Leo diCarpio mannnn.... when they swam for miles
when they first saw the paradise... when they took a group picture
at the shore (airborne) when he screams 'im not going to die today!'
while he talks big after he killed a shark using a knife
when they abandoned their friend whos limb was bitten off by the shark
the underwater sex scene during a full moon.. when they jumped from the mountain
down to a river (was that a falls?) when he ate a worm. when they played russian roulette

and yes its my most favorite film

and when they saw this whole farm of pot.. man thats heaven
everytime i see a scene which shows a farm of weeds damn im gonna be stoned
have you guys seen the flick 'Without A Paddle' when they accidentally burned this
whole grassland that is actually a potfarm.. LOL i hope i was at the set that time
actually i was planning to have a trek to find those paradises someday

Bought this film on DVD about 2 years ago for £1.99 from a bargain bucket in HMV i think. Never watched it...just put it under the stairs.

Might have to dust it off and take a look at it.

If you watch the movie " The Game" starring Micheal Douglas it has a great ending that deserves to be on the list.
