Sorry to say champ, BUT Vic could keep his hand cocked for 2 minutes, he will still hit Arce and HURT Arce! Vic could even give Arce his fight plan before the fight! Arce will be KO'd! Very good news to hear Burgos is doing well, and hopes he is back fully fit and healthy soon.

I couldn't quite get there from my planet unfortunately and be ringside. Thanks for the welcome though. Wonder if Burgos thought Vic's punches were telegraphed..

I'm sure he did but at this stage in Burgos career in my and many peoples opinions there wasn't much he could do to avoid them, he tried and at times suceed it but for the most part did not....
There was times where Vic kept his hand cocked back for like 6 seconds or so while he waited for the right time to throw his punch but like I said at this stage Burgos couldn't dodge a beach ball....

On some good news for those who don't know yet Burgos came out of surgery well and has responded well this was last week.....

I was glad to hear that too. I guess that's a fair call particularly from someone who was at the fight. I gues knowing a punch is going to be thrown and stopping it are 2 separate things. We will have to wait to see then how Arce does in this respect if what you say is accurate.

You got to be kidding me. It would a mismatch. Vic would have to jump from Flyweight to Super Bantamweight. That's 3 weight classes. I doubt Vic would even be able to hurt Marquez. But I have no doubt Marquez can hurt Vic.

You got to be kidding me. It would a mismatch. Vic would have to jump from Flyweight to Super Bantamweight. That's 3 weight classes. I doubt Vic would even be able to hurt Marquez. But I have no doubt Marquez can hurt Vic.

Marquez ain't that much naturally bigger, he's only ever fought as high as feather, Vic has fought at the bantam limit on a number of occasions earlier in his career which has been Marquez' fighting weight for the majority of his fights. Pacheco who Darchinyan defeated is now fighting at 118 & in my opinion will defeat Gonzalez in their upcoming bout. So I see no reason for the weight to make a huge difference for Vic.

Remember guys like Greb, Walker & Langford (you can even put in Hopkins recently) fought & beat guys @ higher weights!

He fought one of the P4P hardest hitters in vAZquez and won. He's been in wars with much better fighters than Darchinyan. Where is the proof of his weak chin?

He fought one of the P4P hardest hitters in vAZquez and won. He's been in wars with much better fighters than Darchinyan. Where is the proof of his weak chin?

Look at his record 3 loses by K.O, sure his 1st was a stupid fight to take but the last to Garcia was in about his 24th fight. Apart from Austin & Johnson & now Vasquez his competition has never been against the top 2 or 3 guys in the division. I'm not saying Vic's has but Johnson was way past his best & thats a fact & Austin you could argue was stale from inactivity.

Usually I would not label something dumb but when one is advocating an opinion based entirely on a fighters nationality,as many of you Darchinyan fans are, rather than actually looking at the skills of a fighter,that is exactly what it is....dumb.

Rafa has fought MUCH MUCH better competition than Vic,he's fought at least 6 ring top 10 fighters,beat 2 legends in Tim Austin and Mark Johnson,beat one of the top 3 fighters in the division,Silence Mabuza twice,went up and fought the champion and beat him too. You obviously have not seen that Rafa stoppage,he took a knee,and had a communication error with his corner,before he knew it,the ref had counted to 10.

Rafa has better technique than Vic,has fought much better fighters,better combinations,KO power in BOTH hands,is quicker,better defence,bigger,etc etc. So how exactly does Vic win?

Look at my points,logical,coherent,and I use evidence to support my points rather than Marquez has the perfect stlye for Vic to exploit.Where is the basis for a ridiculous statement like that?
