Is there any chance we could all get together and give a blanket party to the person who came up with the original list?

Bowe and Klitchko in the top 10?? Wow that is the worst. And Mike the best ever? No.. Joe Louis is the best ever I think, Then Ali and then maybe Holmes or Marciano. Tyson would be about 8 or so.

That list sucks. Alot of people have different top 10's, but Vitali does not belong on anyones. And as much as I like Tyson, I can't say he's number 1.

I always had alot of respect for Larry Holmes. I always thought he was such a great technical fighter. I think even though he is in most people's top 10 heavyweight list, he is underrated. His jab and counter right were great and he had such great determination. Why he lost to Spinks? I am not sure. Spinks was a heck of a fighter also... Hard to insult Spinks in that one. Michael came in and beat Larry, even though Larry was old, Michael beat him with skill and that baby step style. Still Larry to me is the better heavyweight. All around fighter? Hard to say.. Michael was a great fighter that is for sure.I love his fight with Gerry Cooney.

"The doctor did not need x-rays to convince him there was a serious problem. He knew he was hurting and in extreme pain. So Vitali Klitschko, a proud, educated man with a doctorate in sports science and philosophy, did what he felt was a most intelligent thing. He quit on his stool in a World Boxing Organization title defense against Chris Byrd on April 1, 2000, in Berlin, Germany."

You know this article was written by a clown. He forgot to mention that on weekends vitali flys around saving old ladies from evil doers and parting rivers just for the hell of it because he's vitali klitschko.

    on a serious note:

He did the smart thing huh? He went to college (some people dont get that chance to) for all those years just so he could professionally get punched in the face but he did the smart thing right? Quitting in a match he had won three times over because he was hurt. Let me explain something to you. Ali had a broken jaw against norton and didnt quit. People don't watch boxing just so they can see their favorite boxer quit when he gets a boo boo. What that says is Vitali was a great champ while he had no physical obstacles in his way but once he actually got in pain he couldn't take it. Thats what that says about him.

Great post. I hate people that are all over Klitschko's jock like that. They are good for what's going on in the heavyweight division right now, which is next to nothing.

On paper Spinks beat him but all fans know he didn't first fight he didn't do enough to take title from champion and in rematch Holmes was more aggressive and won easily 9 rounds to 6.

IceCold excellent point.. I think Larry put his foot in his mouth with the carrying the jockstrap thing and people really at that point didn't want to see him win. Not saying judges are not objective.
