I think he woulda done alright.

It would be the classic case of on any given night at their best they could all defeat each other!

He clearly loses to all 3, I don't see how anyone says otherwise. He probably wouldn't fight them in truth. He may fight Duran, but he would duck Hearns like the plague and probably would find a way to not fight Leonard, and if he did he loses.

Hagler and Hearns would straight KO mayweather
Duran would make him quit in the late rounds
Leonard would beat PBF by UD

Anyone who says Floyd wouldn't be competitive with the others is disrespecting Floyd's talent. I don't even like Mayweather but you have to respect his ability. Sure Duran beat Leonard in the 1st but Ray made him look silly in the return. Theres no reason to believe that Mayweather couldn't do the same. As for being KO'd Floyd's defense ranks among some of the best of all time, plus the fact he's been in there with some big punches & has never suffered a legitimate knock down leads me to think he would be extremely competitive against these greats!

Come on he is the p4p 1! He has beaten most of the guys around his weight, he's already moved up in weight way too much and even if I don't like him I think he's the best fighter todey if he comes out retirement. I wouldn't be surprised if someone in this forum wanted him to fight wladimir...

i know right, totally agree....it reminds of roy jones as many people most times wonder if he could have beaten the ATGs like ALi, Louis, Holyfield, lewis, marciano, and totally forget that those guys are fucking heavyweights....

Floyd only had three fights at 147...he's a 135-140 pounder and they say if he's p4p best he should take winky easy or even taylor....how dumb is that...even if he beat vitaly they'd say vitaly was shot after his fight with lewis that's why floyd beat him....

80-90% of the people on this forum were'nt alive when Sugar Ray Robinson was in his prime, that doesn't stop a person obtaining footage of his fights and appreciating his greatness.
Why does erbody gotta dogg all the younger members? Cos they're easy targets?
If he thinks that PBF would knock out marvin hagler in the first round with his jab he's still perfectly entitled to his opinion.

Most championship fights then were fifteen rounders. I opine that PBF has to knock-out any of the three during the early rounds or else he will be in trouble during the championship rounds (remember, we take into consideration the mindset of each fighter during his prime). Those rounds you are slower, very difficult to evade so you have to fight (please look at fights of that era and you will see what I mean). Even Ali, tired and slowed down during those rounds.

Prime Duran vs. Prime PBF - Duran's prime was not when he fought Leonard. Watch his earlier fights. He was a scrapper...much faster and meaner. Verdict - if Duran survives the 7th, he picks PBF apart.

Prime Sugar Ray vs. Prime PBF - very difficult to decide (mirror image). Who has more heart will be the final decider. Both men are pure boxers. Sweet science applies to both. I have it even going to the 8th. I do not think PBF nor Ray can knock each other out before the eight. A lucky punch or better conditioning will decide.

Prime Hearns vs. Prime SRL - Hearns does have the speed and power to knock PBF during the early rounds. A repeat of the SRL - Hearns fight (which SRL won). Question is, will PBF have the heart to go toe-to -toe with the Hitman during the championship rounds like leonard did?
