I AM SO SICK OF HEARING THE STANDARD BULLSH@T OF NO CHIN, NO STAMINA, HOW MANY OF HIS BOXING MATCHES HAVE YOU GUYS EVEN SEEN OF HIS ...2 OR 3.... he HAD defence problems that led to getting hit flush by two of the hardest hitters in boxing(brewster, sanders) since then he took the hardest shots peter had and still beat his a** down 9 out of 12rds and if you think stamina is his issue, wlad was at his strongest at the end of the fight against peter...
so disproves the myths of no stamina, no chin, no heart... peter just wiped the floor with toney ... and klitchko would beat peter even worse the second time around..

do you remember when lewis got ktfo by rachman... does that mean he has no chin....

everyone on here keeps saying the same ole bullsh@t that you heard from someone else.... the same recylcled nonsense that you think makes you look lilke you know what your talking about...

the heavy weights or in shambles??... this generation's HWs are so pitifull??..

this is part of a recent article by: A BOXING EXPERT NOT SOME KID IN ENGLAND OR PENNSYLVANIA................if you really want to know whats up in the heavy weights read below...

    BOXING SCENE By John Hively

“We are told that the heavyweight crop which now stands out is as expert and as promising as the peach crop in Alaska. All along the line there is a moaning and a groaning, all because the critics have got it into their heads that the passing of Mike Tyson and Lennox Lewis means the practical death of heavyweight boxing. To one who has seen them come and go this is really a dandy joke.” Legendary promoter Tex Rickard wrote those words in the November 1928 issue of Ring magazine, only the names he mentioned were Dempsey and Tunny. But the same thing he wrote then can be said of the current heavyweight class.

The experts have it all wrong. Instead of the weakest crop of heavyweights in the history of the sport, the big boys of today are talented and they make up one of the deepest and most talented pool of heavyweights the sport of boxing has seen since the middle of the nineteen-seventies.

Gone are the days when a heavyweight could expect to move into the top ten without ever having beaten a legitimate top-ten contender. That means you won’t see guys like Monte Barrett, Andrew Golota and Mac Foster enter the ranks of the current top ten. Those guys and several others entered the rankings in years and decades past, but politics aside, they wouldn’t make it in today’s division based on their lack of achievements in the squared circle, as in days gone by.

The top current top six or seven are an especially talented group of fighters, but the depth of the division really means that anyone in the top fifteen, and perhaps the top twenty, can be deserving of a top ten ranking; and we haven’t that type of depth since Muhammad Ali, George Foreman and Joe Frazier were at or near their primes. As of yet, nobody is suggesting the current crop has an all-time great among them. Nowadays, they still aren’t as deep as that division of thirty-four years past, but the depth of talent compares favorably, if not downright better, than any period of time since then

Lewis proved having a chin with wars vs Vitali + Mercer getting hit flush by Bruno and Mason whenever Wlad get hits flush he always seem to be put down or wobbled and shortly stopped after.

Vitali never hit him on his button either like Hasim Rahman and Oliver McCall but the KO was in the makeing lucky for Lewis Vitali got cut.Unlike Lewis Wlad has never been ko'd just tko'd
Why do you have Klitschko on your name if you've not seen the biggest fight the brothers have ever been in? Because you must have not seen Vitali fight Lewis or else you wouldn't have said something as stupid as Klit never hit him hard.

Oh yeah he hit him hard and continuous, Lewis made up his mind before that fight was over that he would never get in the ring with that man again so he took his chickenshit win and ran never to give him a rematch like I've said before it would have been funny if Hasim Rahman or Oliver McCall retired after knocking Lewis's ass out something Lewis could never do to Vitali.

h*ll wlads dramatically improved his offence too... with the new lead straight right, wlad is DANGEROUS

Wlad fought 40 year old Mercer lets not be silly now and i suppose DaVarryl Williamson is crushing hitter aswell ?? because he put Wlad on the deck aswell name me one fight where Wlad has took flush shot and hasn't been wobbled stopped or knocked down.
    brock
Brock isn't that much of a power puncher and i don't remember him hitting Wlad flush either.
then rewatch the fight... or is wlad just that good that no one has ever hit him flush accept for peter sanders and brewster

brock had one of the ko's of the year 2006 has good not great power
Maybe i do haven't seen it in ages but i don't remember any hard flush punches landing on Wlad at all and you just said Brock did land flush punches and now you have just changed it by saying is Wlad that good no one else as hit him except Sanders ect i don't get that unless i read it wrong truth is Wlad is best of very bad bunch of hws infact the worst hw era of all time.
... i was sacasticly saying that is wlad that good he was never hit by anyone but 3 guys.... OF COURSE HE HAS BEEN HIT HARD BY ALMOST EVERY GUY HE HAS FACED HE IS A HW....

and the current era is the worst HW's of all time... that staement alone should show how much you know about HW's....

i know its a popular myth but... if you think the top ten to 15 in the HW divsion today went head to head with those of the 1900' 30's 50's 60's 80's and90's you need to study up a little more....

and i am talking about the top 10 - 15 HW's not the top two...
So your questioning my knowledge on hws ?? don't even go there you know people who argue weak arguements always question other peoples knowledge i've noticed that since i've been here i have not been rude to you so why do you have to insult me ?? because that is insulting of course hws today would beat hws of early 1900s only because they wouldn't even be hws by today standards .....

Doesn't mean level of competition in early 1900s is worse or 50s or 40s ect and yes Wlads era is weakest hw era of all time and hws in 90s Bowe Lewis Holyfield Ruddock George Foreman would make mince meat of all hws today.
didnt mean to insult sorry bro... it was a careless comment

but back to the points you said HW's OF ALL TIME not just since what the 60's the HW's before the 60's was the biggest baddest dudes their was.. and some of them WERE BIG ...

head to head which is how i rate era's the top 10-15 currently would smash the 50's and below how else could you compare them they are in the same division...

the 90's TOP 10 -15 is no better than today's

neither was the top 10-15 the 80's

if todays HW's are better THAN ANY DECADE that means your wrong...
beings that you said the worst of all time.. then change it to least competitive...

our top 10-15 today are atleast avg. compared to ALL TIME

oh and wlad, vitali, and peter would have battled the 90's foreman40
+, bowe and holyfield, and ruddick.. there would be mence meat on both sides....
and the depth 10-15 is much better now than in the 90's

I think all of vlads problems were caused by lack of stamina. A top notch trainer cured his stamina problems.

Wlad would crush Ali and Frazier. Ali was only good because he had no competition save Frazier and Forman. Ali would run away the entire fight and when he did try to engage, he would be set back by a stiff jab. Wlad wouldn't chase him around the ring like every other opponent Ali fought. Frazier would never get through the jab so all you are left with is Forman. Forman would lose because he didn't punch enough. Don't even get me started on Lennox Lewis. Hands down, Wlad and Vitali are two of the best heavyweights EVER! They have stiffer competion than any of the previous decades.

how do u think he would fare againest the chamos of yester year ?
    ALI / FOREMAN . HOMLES ETC ?
Like I have said in many many posts before all of the greats of the past never faced a guy with all of the things going for them like Wladimir has.I just can't imagine the smaller heavyweights of the past standing up to the power and piston like jab that Wladimir poseses.

Wladimir has the ability to beat Ali, Foreman and Holmes. If someone says these guys would easily beat Wladimir they are not really analizing the matchup, they are just putting on their rose colored Nostalgic glasses and asuming because the division now isn't as great as back then that they would win.The truth is the guys now are much bigger and stronger as a whole than back then.Back then heavyweightsthat Ali fought were between 180 and 210lbs with a handfull above that.Gearge Foreman built his career on guys in the 190 to 215 range again with a handfull above that. The same goes for Holmes at least for the first half of his career.Somehow I don't believe their records would be as good if the heavyweights were as big and strong as they are today.

Don't be silly forgetting size hws have no talent what so ever and weight and size would do them no good against great technical fighters like Holmes and Ali who are incredibly fit and athletic something you can't say about the bunch of hws today and Holmes and Ali would been undefeated in this era.

any elite boxer who had a weight advantage during his career also had a pretty good record. If any of the past boxers fought today you would have to nullify the weights they fought at in yeateryear. You would have to say all the greats would be 130 lbs or heavier. Any boxer, in any era, who consistently fought people above his weight and won, get my respect.

Actually I am being logical you are the one who is making assumptions. You say they have no talent? What do you base this on?In all aspects of sports throughout history the athlete has gotten better, that is a fact.I just don't know how you can assume, having nothing to make a logical comparison on, that Ali would be able to handle the athletes of today like he did the little guys he fed on.

There not better athletes though if they were better they would be more fitter and faster i thought that would be obvisious just because there bigger doesn't mean there better which they aren't just go watch some of hws in 70s 80s then go watch hws today and see how much slower they are today and how much there unfit its disgrace im not trying to take anything away from Wlad i think he is decent athlete like his brother but other hws well most of them just plain suck.

Well there were a lot of horrible heavyweights back in the 70s and 80s as well.I am mainly talking about the European heavyweights of today, they train really hard and take it very seriously.Guys like Sultan Ibragimov,Ruslan Chagaev,Luan Krasniqi and Alexander Dimitrenko are all very quick with their hands. On a whole the heavyweights of today pack more power than they did in the 70's and 80's.
