Only thing I was looking forward to this season was favre getting the records so no matter how bad the rest of the team and its season were, atleast he could go out on a high note. Hasn't quite sank in all the way yet that they might actually do something big this year. They can beat detroit, minnesota, and chicage twice IMO and that almost certainly = playoffs.

They didn't let green bay off the hook, The leagues only 3-time (back-back-back at that) MVP did what he does. I think that moved him to 3rd all time in 4th quarter comeback drives. That record would be reachable if it wasn't for some elway guy...
Roethelisberger never makes many pass attempts. The more he throws the more mistakes he will make. But he fits well into the Steelers scheme.

The afc north is crazy. I thought Bengals/Ravens were going to be in a fight for first, while the Steelers would finish third, followed by the browns.

The Steelers have started out well, but we havent had a big challenge yet. If anything, Steelers beating Browns, who beat Bengals, who beat Ravens just shows how wacky afc north is right now. The Steelers will have a tough time against both the Bengals and Ravens still.

You don't really need a overpowering offense when you have a D that stops points and puts up points for you. With norv turner somehow not being able to win with the chargers, It's between the colts patriots and steelers this year in the afc. Not really fond of any but I'd rather it be pittsburgh ahead of any others.

I just realized that favre and ali are the exact same thing to their sport. Both have unbelieveable HOF resume's and are each arguably the best to ever do what they did. Both, while entertaining to watch, are horrible film study subjects as they did everything wrong but still did better than anyone else. Ali with his hands low and backing away from punches as opposed to slipping them, Favre without planting his feet (but holds the record for all-time completions and td's), diving head first into defenders (while maintaining the leagues record for most consecutive starts for a QB), and always throwing it into coverage (and rightfully closing in on the all-time INT mark). 100 of his int's would've been sacks or thrown out of bounds incompletions with any normal QB.

Big time game for Keith Bulluck, nice game Titans. Turned the Saints back into the Aint's.

If GB had A running back not even a great one, just one, they'd be so much better. For not having a running game, they definitely have a championship worthy d and a qb that makes plays out of nothing. The lombardi trophy is coming home this year .

People in San Diego are pissed, especially as LA are winning.

They're blaming me. I may have to go back to supporting Miami

By season's end Favre will own another NFL record as well. Most INT's in a career. I think he is 3 away from Blanda at the moment.

The int record is legendary. You have to be good to get that many int's on your stats. If you were bad, you wouldn't be around long enough to get those. In all honest tho, 100 of those int's should of been sacks but brett favre doesn't throw the ball away or slide because thats what he does, be a beast. Best record in football since '92 depsite all those int's. The bears bottomed out, the vikings were doomed since they got rid of moss and culpepper and detroit couldn't even win/make it to a superbowl with barry sanders in the back field.

Thougt you would find this intresting, Pun. I know you may have seen this already, but just incase..

Expect Brett Favre to slow down this month. Of his record 422 TDs, 87 have come in October -- the lowest total of any of the four primary regular-season months. How do the other months stack up? 1. September (117), 2. November (10 and 3. December (102).

That was a bit from the ESPN - NFL Power Rankings thru week 4

I refer you to rule 10 and 11 of the fantasy rulebook (they might be different depending where you look but they are listed consecutively): 10. Listen to the experts 11. Don't listen to the experts. If i remember correctly the night his father passed away was in october and he threw for 4 td's and 399 yards. Then again by his standards that is slowing down .

Does anyone know if there is a site that shows all the throwback uniforms that have been used over the years?

Denver wore some throwbacks once that I loved but I have never seen them since. It was an orange helmet with a white cartoon looking horse on the side. The horse kinda looked like it was bucking and it wore no saddle.

I would love to see this one again and see what else has been reused.
