This happened today.

My question is this..................



What if there was a 6 month old baby crawling around on the floor when these dogs came in. As revolting (and sad) as the thought is, that scenario has happened MANY times. These aren't golden retrievers, they're pitbulls. It's in their nature to kill, and even the most docile pit, or the most pampered pit can (and has way more times than any other species) turn on it's owner (including their children) and attack.

Would you ever leave your baby in the room alone with a golden retriever? Probably




A pit? Didn't think so.


I'm not saying they're all bad (I've encountered a couple cool ones).............. I'm saying that as a whole, they are far more aggressive (and dangerous) than any other species of dog.

For the record if a pitbull is raised in a good environment ( ie not beaten, starved, hit, forced to fight, etc.) then it will likely turn out to be a great, secure, obediant family dog.

These dogs arent born monsters. It is monsters that turn them into monsters and breed them to give them a life or horror, pain and death for the owners entertainment.

there is some truth to that, yes, but generally speaking, the breed simply can't be trusted. Ever.

Pitbulls are being eliminated as a breed in Ontario, Canada, and it should be that way everywhere. They'll always have that aggressive side that can come out at any time.

You might have to work extra hard to teach them right but no more than a stubborn Rottie pup.

Also, you want to do some research and buy one from a good breeder not from some kuncklehead down the block who let his breed with the one in the rowhouse next to his.

Afterall you want a nice looking, well tempered dog. Nothing uglier than a long legged, bird chested pit that won't hold still long enough for you to trim it's nails.

Another thing is letting alot people handle and walk the puppy. You want to it to behave for EVERYONE not just you.
