    Its a shame really.
Casino has to make it's money and satisfy it's people too. Hatton peasants, I mean fans got no choice but to deal with the fact that there man will not be cater to hand and foot like he is in the UK.
You do realise hundreds of tickets will be wasted on celebrities and Casino owners' families who wont be able to tell mayweather and hatton apart?
Of course. But them celebrities got deeper pockets than Hatton fans. So they drop more money at the tables. It's a money making world. And I don't blame the casinos. It's the reality of the situation. It's always been like that for a big fight. When Tyson was in his prime a lot of his fans couldn't get tickets to see him fight. There was no big uproar. Why should the situation be different? Cuz Hatton fans come from the UK? Oh F****** well. Go to a bar and watch the fight. Or stay home and order the PPV.
Good logic on the celeb point there.
However this situation simply conveys the negative aspect of the modern fight game. Money is to boxing what electricity is to the worlds economy.
I guess that im just an idealist, the ideal situation being, legitimate fans procuring tickets to see the fights that they want without having to scrounge, save and sprint in order to be considered.

The casino punters rolling the dollars are soooo interested in the fight VD!! As has been highlighted earlier these people dont know boxing and there are genuine fans willing to pay good money to see a good fight. A certain number of those casino clowns will obviously always get tickets, but to limit the Hatton loyal support to a single 5th of all supporters is a shame for boxing.

If you are willing to defend that and be rude in the process. Well, that reflects more on you than anything else.

Yes i dont blame the Casino one bit your spot on there they have to cater for there needs and that is fair enough, but i would to know what sort of contribution or fee these Casinos pay to hold the fight? Would this financially outweigh say a football staduim that could fill 50k, Would the amount of tickets sold for a bigger venue be enough revenue to compete with a Casinos fee? Maybe not becasue if it did surely it would be a win win situation the revenue is there and more fans can watch it.

I think alot of tickets will be bought up in the U.S then sold in the UK via package deals with flight, meal and hotel included. Dont worry the Hatton supporters will be there in force!

I'm with both of ya'll. I wish it wasn't just a money making world. But it is. It always has been. To even think Hatton will be affected because his usual number of fans won't be there is pretty silly to me. Hatton don't need no security blanket. If he does, than maybe he's not the fighter you guys taught he was.

Well like i said he's my fave active fighter, has been since he was an amateur, but iv always been objective n criticised him when he deserved it.
I think it will affect him somewhat.

I don't see how you think it will affect him?

It will be FULL of Brits. Absolutetly rammed. It's not just going to be 3900 Brits just because that is Hatton's allocation.

There will be thousands on the phone on Monday to Ticketmaster and MGM. Failing that, everyone will buy tickets on the Black Market!

Should numbers of British fans be down, making the venue neutral or god-forbid, pro-Mayweather will Ricky be affected?
In addition will this news make Hatton's focus slip before the fight?

This article came from Sky Sports.
Mayweather has never had the fans on his side and he always does the buisness this should not effect Ricky in any way what so ever.

As i said before Mayweather is a true pro in that respect.
And i guess, in this situation the crowd are going to be so pumped that there'll be plentyof noise anyway.

You nailed it right there and actually USA will cheer for Hatton because of come forward style and because they just plain hate Mayweather but i find Mayweather's style exciting to watch i don't think fans appreciate the sweet science enough and just look for brawls all the time while i do like brawls like everyone else you gotta also appreciate the sweet science and imo alot of the fans don't.

Well to be honest while everybody else slated it i thought the world awaits was a pleasing display. All the hype, all the trash talk all that emotion n Floyd stayed settled, lost a few rounds but still out thought De la Hoya.
And u cant get much more entertaining than fights such as Jesus Chavez or Diego Corrales.
The Corrales fight now that was a display for the ages.

I totally agree cc i could name about 10 exciting Mayweather fights but go on most forums and they will say Mayweather runs he is so boring he sends me to sleep ect and only people who say that are people who haven't watched his fights and only highlights or is just going along with the crowd in the forums.

Don't completely dismiss the idea that Ricky can box, he isn't just a brawler

As for the Sweet Science, anybody who doesn't appreciate Floyd doesn't understand Boxing. Simple. He is the best fighter on the planet bar none.
