I haven't seen the fight so I will reserve judgment but scores seem a little wide to me for a guy who was knocked down three times. Assuming McCline was giving a 10-8 round in the second and a 10-7 round in the third, 2 judges gave him every round besides those two. 113-112 sounds more on the line than the other two.

Bernstein was smoking crack in this fight. He said he scored the first two rounds for Peter (Peter was knocked down in the 2nd) and the third round 10-9 McCline ( this despite Peter being down twice).

On my card the first 3 rounds were 10-9 8-10 and 7-10 how Bernstien got 10-9 10-9 9-10 I'll never fucking know

No i don't think it was good performance he was supposed to wipe out McCline and was dropped 3 times by a light hitter like McCline who isn't one of the top Heavyweights and Peter only just about scraped through to win decision this doesn't look good for his future.

No I wouldn't say that I was at all happy with his performance...but I was pleased that he got up to win.

As far as his chin goes...well...he took a shitload of shots from Wlad & stayed on his feet only to get wobbled once & then got dropped by McCline thrice & got up...I don't know. The height was a huge issue this time & he was wide open for McCline's upper all night long & that cost him his footing.

Honestly...I'd say there were a shitload of detractors going into the fight...but I still didn't expect that mess.

That was shocking, I mean Jameel McCline?

He's showed a good chin before so maybe it was just an aberration but also Peter just seemed glacially slow, he wasn't even able to land many good shots cause of that.

As for the referee, yes Peter should be warned, have points taken away for hitting behind the head but it just annoyed the hell out of me when McCline would complain to the ref while he was holding the s*** out of Peter. Excessive holding is just not illegal I guess.

Perhaps Peter just didn't "get up" for this fight? You know he was expecting to be the challenger in a title fight, but instead gets someone way below the top ten. It happens all the time, competitive people in just about any sport really, get caught sleep walking.

I don't know what it is, but it doesn't matter how much I'm rooting for a fighter, if they get rocked I just want the other guy to finish them! I really like Peter, but when he got hurt I was suddenly pulling for McCline, at least until Peter recovered.
