Mitchell is another of Frank Warren's fighters, who has so far had a fairly easy ride of it in making his record 24-0, but Mitchell is definitely a powerful and spiteful puncher, and seems fairly accurate as well. I'm not wholly convinced on Mitchell's chin however, and he does leave himself open every now and again to being caught. Tough one to call I think.

Really pleased for Carl, he always looks so meek and timid walking to the ring it's had not to root for him.

Him and Mitchell would be a great matchup. I'm leaning strongly towards Mitchell in that fight, although it's probably because I've seen a lot more of Carl and know his vulnurabilities whereas Mitchell has had an easy ride of it so far.

    Great matchup though!

on the rbr Rhun, I waited until I had watched the fight before I came in here but it was good commentary as always.

CC#720 Superheavy.... for the rd. by rd. job well done fella

I just finished watching the fight! wow!

Both guys should be proud of themselves and IMO Gomez should take it easy now I think he fights at all cylinders and hes there to take or be taken. 8 loses 5 by KO/TKO I would def. say it's time to hang 'em up for him. If not hang 'em up then stay clear from top level fighters and instead fight up and coming prospects.
For Carl I think if he comes in focused and ready to go, I think he can give 'Mighty' Mitchell a lot of trouble early on. Mitchells slick and has good skill to go with it. Carl will need to bring some effective pressure from the start and make Mitchell fight.

I agree with you on Michael Gomez, I don't think he should be going into fights with big hitters like Johanneson any more, he's had a lot of hits to the head, and if he doesn't want to go into the journeyman status and fight up-and-comers, then at least he should look to handpick his opponents.

I think that this is probably in the top 5 fights that I have seen this year for pure entertainment. And a CC back at you. The Mitchell fight was pencilled in for December, and keep your eye on this channel for an RBR of that one.
