Debate for MMWC Light Heavyweight Championship

Dam man,S***! Calm down,take a deep breath and post then. I agree it was a tough topic and I'd like one of these guys to try to debate it as I had a hard time thinking of anyone other than Diaconu but still man! No need to go off....

There is nothing left to do but declare this bout a draw!!!!!..........Truth is the topic was kind of hard because the LHW division is in slim pickings...Going through transitions and all.....

It's not a draw mate, you won, JT refused to debate.

I've got the same dilemna in my challenge, having to argue that the flyweights are exciting but I'm still having a darn good go.

No subject is too hard thats where your wrong i had very hard subject and i still won it by giving Bruce the facts sometimes i lied little bit i admit it but Bruce did not pick up on this or my mistakes and that was his mistake.

It's a competition to see who can provide the best argument, it doesn't matter if the debate is weighted in favour of the other, in fact that just gives the other person a chance to shine by being inventive, trying to approach things from an unusual angle etc.

Then the students go off and prepare their arguments. In a test enviroment (like our competition enviroment) personal opinion need not have anything to do with it. You are trying to demonstrate your debating skills not testifying before a high court that what you are about to say 'be the truth, the whole truth, and nothing but the truth so help me God'.

And what's even funnier to me is that you quit over Daxx's selection of Diaconu as the biggest prospect in the division. I mean come on only a single prospect in the entire division? Just dig a little deeper.

I'm more than happy to debate Daxx on this very issue, I'm still confident I can both win the deabte and also not sell my soul to the devil in the process.

Then the students go off and prepare their arguments. In a test enviroment (like our competition enviroment) personal opinion need not have anything to do with it. You are trying to demonstrate your debating skills not testifying before a high court that what you are about to say 'be the truth, the whole truth, and nothing but the truth so help me God'.

And what's even funnier to me is that you quit over Daxx's selection of Diaconu as the biggest prospect in the division. I mean come on only a single prospect in the entire division? Just dig a little deeper.

I'm more than happy to debate Daxx on this very issue, I'm still confident I can both win the deabte and also not sell my soul to the devil in the process.

If I win I'll be sure to rub your face in it, but if I lose I will take it in good humour and not let it bother me in the slightest.

Shoot, I love big george but I think that's too high. In terms of pure boxing ability there are a lot of better fighters... A prime Tyson, Lewis, Ali and Joe Louis are all better in the ring in my opinion.

He hit like a mule and had an amazing late career but prime for prime there's at least 4 people above him in those stakes.

Ali showed us that he didn't have much of a boxing brain and of you could hang in there with him you could beat him.

I'm in awe of his come back career but the division was weak at the time (which still doesn't greatly cheapen what he did) and had things happened slightly differently against Moorer it would of been a nice try but a lopsided UD.

I hate having to argue against George but 3rd best is just too high...
