Margarito v Cotto needs to happen.

I don't really care to see a Mayweather fight,a Margarito would be far more exciting. And a Mayweather fight would be alot of hassle to make,I don't want Miguel wasting time trying to go after Floyd in negotiations like Tony did.

I have Cotto as the best WW right now from the fighters he's beaten at WW:Quintana,Urkal,Zab,and Shane compared to Baldo,Sharmba and Zab. I don't need a title(lineal,alphabet,whatever) to tell me Cotto is the best WW on the planet.

Mayweather is better than Cotto. He's the best p4p fighter in the world when he's fighting at welterweight.

i think a fight between the winner of Hatton/Mayweather should happen first and foremost. Then maybe a fight with Margo, Williams or Cintron. i just don't think,that just because Tony won against Johnson that gives him the right to fight Cotto just yet. he let that opportunity slip by before and now he should have to wait for his time. which i think should be after Cotto takes on the winner of Hatton/Mayweather. By then he should get a fight with one of the other fighters in the division. No jumping straight to Cotto!!

You didn't adress any of the points I made,the main one being Zab had a NO DECISION and "jumped" straight to Cotto sooo...........

Exactly. Mayweather is better in the P4P sense,but at WW,Cotto has fought by far the better fighters and has looked better too. Even if Floyd beats Hatton,Cotto has still fought the better fighters at Ww,Hatton isn't even a legit WW. You're getting confused Taeth.

Cotto should get the winner of Hatton vs Mayweather, and on a card within a month of it MArgarito should face Oscar. Winners face of to determine the undisputed welterwight champ and we all know who your P4P king is....yet this will probably never happen because the match ups we all want to see are often overshadowed by financial gains or losses that romoters see in theor own best interest. Oh what a tournament it would be though...back to the old days with the best facing the best not mandatory defenses or cake walk opponents
