Hatton doesn't want a rematch, as he'll get beat up again. I love Ricky but I think he hit his head too hard if he thinks he can stay at WW and challenge Floyd again, or any of the top WW's. He needs to stay at 140 and dominate there if he can, and be happy with that.

I agree with most of what you said, Floyd is all about the money and he has said it a hundred times, he doesn't call himself Money May for nothing, so if Hatton brings the most and is fool enough to step in the ring with Floyd again. Floyd will happily build his bank account up on an easy fight. I think Hatton or De La Hoya still bring more money then Cotto but neither one would dare step in the ring with him again regardless of the talk. That leaves Cotto to give up his WBA title to Floyd.

both fighters made a shitload of dosh and if a instant rematch takes place their just after a shitload more.... simple as that.

    Greedy cunts

but the thing that they seem to be forgetting is that Hatton has already been knocked out so the intrest on a rematch would not generate the same dosh... No where near

Hatton Cotto or Floyd Cotto would generate big bucks but Hatton Mayweather 2

    totally pointless IMO
    Spot on Saddo...
So what yee' say I put you down for 100 quid on Hatton?

I have 0 interest in seeing a rematch.Hatton had his chance and blew it,it's time to go back to 140.He doesn't deserve another shot imo.

C'mon Gamo it would be great, we could make it a sensational double header in Britain and have Jeff Lacy try and do better against Calzaghe second time round as the main undercard support.

And who wouldn't want to see Gavin Rees vs M'Baye 2?

Throw in Enzo Maccarinelli in a revenge fight against Lee Swaby and you're in for a very unpredictable night of competitive boxing

Actually on a serious note I hope Hatton doesn't get another chance not just because he wasn't competitive against Floyd and got KTFO but for the fact that he SHOULD have given Louis Collazo a rematch when at least 70% of the boxing world thought he lost that fight.

I wasn't going to mention this but I was talking to a guy in the queue for the toilets on the plane on the way over (cue the jibes !) who was telling me who he worked for some Arabian company or other who had already tabled big money to back a rematch in the UK. He had free ringside seats for the fight.

I thought he was just some nutter (and maybe he was) but when Mayweather mentioned he'd love to fight in the UK in the post fight interview it got me wondering. And now this......

Of course it may all be nonsense but just thought I would share it with you . You never know

    Joe Calzaghe vs Mario Veit
The only reason that fight happend is cozthe fuckwits made Veit the mandetory number 1 and JC had to fight or be stripped.
