lewis got kayoed by fighters he shouldn't even be losing a decision too.
If u compare Lewis's record to Joe Calzaghes it just shits all over Joe's.
    Lewis fought and beat
    Tyson
    Holyfield
    Klitschko
    Bruno
    Morrison
    Moorer
    Rahman
    Tua
    Mccall
    need i say more?
Joe's career isn't over yet, if he beats hopkins then taylor-pavlik winner then he surpasses lennox
Nah Lewis is hailed as the greatest heavyweight ever by George Foreman who beat evey guy he ever fought . If Joe beats Hopkins it will be looked back in hindsight as Joe just beating a washed up 41 year old.
well the same can be said about lewis' competition. the 2 best names he fought were Tyson & Holyfield & they were just a shell of what they once were when lewis got to them. as for beating every guy he ever fought, Joe has done that also & without any losses to his opponents. and as for Foreman calling Lewis the greatest heavyweight ever, the only 2 boxers who experts pick for that moniker are Ali & Joe Louis, obviously George will never concede that Ali was the greatest as he has tried to diminish that in the past with claims like he was drugged b4 the fight & the loose ropes.
"Very few people really understand what it means to be a fighter. I hate it when I hear someone say, 'That fighter doesn't have guts. I hate that, I don't care if you're a world champion six times over or a four-round fighter, to step inside that ring, you have to have guts" Oscar De La Hoya

Yeah I dont disagree with you im just saying thats how I think it will be perceived . Big George is still bitter and can be abit fickle

Joe IMO doesnt get teh plaudits he deserves . People had Ricky overtaking him in status b4 the Floyd fight but Ive always thought Joe is the better fighter . He can do more and I really see him beatig any of the opposition out there . With Ricky it was more hope rather than expectation .

I will second that. It is a tough fight for him. He should not be looking past Hopkins but instead should be concentrated on how to beat him. Hopkins at 42 and still at the top 10 on the p4p list is Willie Pep like. Wow. Personally I think Pavlik would knock out Joe C. He is the hardest puncher he will face Kessler can hit but not like Pavlik. Pavlik has better tools and foot work than Kessler and is allot ore rangy and doesn't tire. But then again he has never went past the 8 th round.
Kessler was throwing power punches all the way up to round 12. watch round 12 of the fight, it was joe's least competitive round in the whole fight. I think Kessler has a better jab and fundamentals than pavlik, but pavlik has the bigger punch.
For those who study boxing should know that Pavlik is a southpaw that fights Orthadoxed. Trust me. He is a lefty. The punch that put Taylor to sleep was a short left hand. Pavlik is the harder jabber hook , strait right, ...what ever. Kessler isn't close. Right now Miranda is the hardest hitter at 168. I would love to see Kessler -Miranda.

Maybe Pavlik can go to 168 and capture that title.

    Lewis fought and beat
    Tyson--- Well past it
    Holyfield--Well past it
Klitschko--was beating Lenoxx till the doctor stoppage and refused to Rematch Klit
Bruno---Great domestic match up(Thats why Witter Hatton must Happen) Bruno was mediocre
Morrison--- Glass jaw and an underachiever
    Moorer--- Fight never happened
    Rahman-- Bum
    Tua-- Classic Underachiever
    Mccall--Mediocre

Lets not venerate Lewis and then shiit on Calzaghe.. Joe is a fine champion and is undefeated for almost 11 years who has beaten them all
