Cintron-Margarito, with the winner fighting the winner of Cotto-Gomez. It's all well and good. Just one question, tho...........

Where the HELL is Floyd?!? (Aside from planning Chess-Match II with the Golden Boy).

Default Margarito vs Cintron April 12 ???

Margarito Cintron will be on the card of Cotto vs. Gomez in A.C. on April 12.I am very happy to this one go off.I think Cintron's bad management made him lose the first fight.I mean come on a fight with Teddy Reid he breaks his hand, has to take 9 months off to heal. Then his dumbass promoter see's dollar signs instead of protecting his fighter by fighting a tune-up and Cintron get's his ass smashed throughly in five.Since then he has racked up some wins and been working E-man and noticely getting better by the day.I think in this one Cintron stops Maragrito within six. What do you guys think ?

I don't know about Cintron taking out Margarito in six, but I certainly agree with everything else you said as a justification for his performance in his last fight. But I also have to attribute what happened the last time to his lack of game plan. Once it became evident that Kermit could not KO Margarito with one punch, as he could most fighters, Kermit didn't know what to do. There was no plan B. So he just quit. If you noticed, Kermit was never seriously hurt by Margarito. Those knockdowns were simply Cintron taking a seat, sort of like when boxers take a voluntary knee. Now, because of Steward, Kermit has more to offer and will certainly do better than the last time. He knows he better not quit this time, so I don't expect him to. I see this fight ending brutally in a fight of the year candidate. I'll give the edge to Margarito, but I will be rooting for Cintron. He can do it!

Cintron is still overly dependent on his power. Just look at his recent predictions, they were all KO's!LOL

When Antonio negates Kermit's right hand again, what will Kermit do? He will be on the receiving end of hard painful punches, feel like he has no answer for them and begin to unravel.

Not to sound like an ass here but something just does not seem right....

I know Cotto is the bigger name out there right now and on the top of everyones news list but...

Doesn't it seem a bit unfair that Cotto Vs Gomez is the headliner?......

I mean Margarito Vs Cintron is a title fight with a guy who has only lost to Margarito and another being a former world champion himself......The combination of the two seems to be worthy of more attention then Cotto vs Gomez IMO...And that is in no way a put down to cotto but...I mean c'mon....

I was thinking the same thing but you will probably see them end up making it a co-headliner fight. If they don't they just might be looking at it Cotto being the biggest name, so his fight gets to be the headliner.

Looks like the card of the year so far!

I take Zab gift decision and Cotto UD.

Cintron-Margarito is a complete toss up in my opinion. Depends which Cintron shows up. I think Kermit might find a way to win this.

Helluva card can't wait for this one!

I think some of you guys are crazy to say Margarito is going to easily beat Cintron. (sorry if someone posted this) Remember when Cintron fought Teddy Reid,he broke his hand in that fight had to take nine months off to rest it.Then his money hungry manager said hey a big money fight with the champion Margarito let's do this.Cintron being young and stupid says I can beat him without a tune-up and then boom.Margarito tears him apart. In my mind lesson learned.Cintron got rid of his manager, brought in E-man and has done nothing but improve day in and day out.I see a K.O. and not for Margarito but for Cintron within six.

I hope the Dawson-Johnson Tarver-Woods is at a different time, and is this one gonna be free on HBO? Thats a toss-up for me they are both great cards, I might have to flip a coin to decide which to watch first....

Pass the bong you stoned F!!!!R.Maybe If he listens to "E-Man" next time .....doubt It....He wont be In an all out struggle with a club fighter like Feliciano. ??
The diffrences between a one punch atomic bomber like Reid with so-so chin & A Angle punching arsenal solid chin Maragarito are as obvious as daylight.
Name me 1 time when Tony has ben wrecked by a punch??................?

With a name like Spicoli in the boxing why would I have to justify my prediction.Listen here Cintron from what I seen can be the deadliest puncher since Hearns in the Welter's and that's saying a bunch. You simply point out well when has Margarito been wrecked by one punch I point to the more recent Peter vs McCline fight who thought the Peter could get knockdown. The answr is no one but yet McCline knocked him down 3 times I believe. This is boxing my friend and to me Cintron has a punch that can not be dealt with hell if he decides to move up I think without a doubt he can take that power to middleweight may be even Light Heavyweight. The only thing the could go wrong if like Rican said there is no plan B and that's on the money.I think has been planning this rematch in his head since the day after it happened to him.Cintron within six.
